went for drinks on a hot afternoon Not sure if someone had pressed the wrong till buttons it felt as if OAP's tourists being ripped off..........will accept they made a mistake. but communication was virtually non existence

Stopped here for a bit of lunch on a Sunday..we just had Haloumi fingers which were greasy! A chicken and bacon sandwich which I can only describe as gross! Fatty and verging on undercooked! We also ordered whitebait again not all good! Will not return!!

My husband is on a medical diet. He ordered a plain chicken sandwich and was told it would come without butter and dressing, perfectly plain. However, the chicken was not plain. It was covered in a crispy coating and deep fried. Why don’t staff listen to specific requests. View menu

Wow, such poor service! Never had chance to try the food. We booked for 6 outside on the website, leaving a message to confirm outside. Telephoned this morning to confirm the booking and that it was outside. Arrived in good time and was told we had to eat inside or we could cancel our booking. The person serving arrogant and lacked basic customer service skills. We suggest retracing or a career not involving customer contact.

The 'manager ' of this place is an absolute joke. We ordered starters and mains at the bar (no table service? which then all arrived at once. He then blamed ME for his mistake and said the chef didn 't want the mains hanging around in the kitchen. So my mum had to lift her soup up while this drongo threw our mains at us. His attitude was completely unprofessional and embarrassing. The whole visit left a bad taste in our mouths and it wasn 't just the very VERY average food. We go out regularly for a nice lunch and I can categorically say we will never ever step through the door of this dreadful place again. Please don 't waste your money on these idiots.

The broadway hotel is a lovely place and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. However.... the bar staff and wait staff are some of the most stuck up and rudest people I’ve ever met. Instantly derisive and condescending when ordering food or drinks, regularly shouted at people across the bar when not ordering as succinctly as they would like and laughed in customers faces when they got something wrong (eg/ “is that beer an ale? Haha, no its a porter!” Wow). I have a hospitality company in Holland and if I had any of the staff there in my employment I would sack them all instantly and tell them to consider a different profession. Popped in for lunch whilst staying locally. The food was lovely, eventually! However, the panicky approach of the manager left a lot to be desired. There wasn’t a salad on the menu so I asked for one (I didn’t want bread for health reasons which I stated too). He proceeded to say that he couldn’t do that as sandwiches were ‘already made up’. After further explanation we managed to order, however, it wasn’t without him indicating I was at fault. My request was clear! He then proceeded to patronise another customer who asked if there was a toilet he could use. Rude! It is clear that other members of staff are frustrated with him too as, on hearing the discussion, one of them apologised to me....

If you want a chocolate box image setting then look no further than Broadway in Worcestershire, however that`s where the attraction ends for despite the pretty historic building forming part of the aesthetically pleasing environment, the hotel of which it pretends to be) has a service so appalling that its standards are an embarrassment to the hospitality industry!. Bar staff in chaos despite it not being busy) waitresses walking around with food looking for the table , asking guests what they had ordered to see if matches the plates being sent out from the kitchen, tables receiving starters and main courses at the same time. Stopped by here for lunch today. It was a beautiful sunny day so we chose a table outside at the front of the hotel. We placed our order at the bar; one steak sandwich, a flatbread wrap with Mediterranean vegetables and two IPA beers. The food quality was ok but the customer service was diabolical. Three young staff were serving customers seated outside and not one of them could raise a smile let alone engage in conversation. Our food was delivered but no cutlery. Our waiter said that cutlery would follow; we were not asked if we required any condiments so I asked for salt/ pepper, mayonnaise and ketchup.
