"the swans booked over 1 month ago, arrived and waited 10 minutes to take place, we were given the menu and told no Sunday roast as they had expired, only had huh left. order fish and chips that, when delivered, were running out of cod, so that had replaced with sea bass should not only have been served) and this had bones in it. wife had seen fish cake on the online menu, these were not on the printed menu, but after asking, they found some. friend ordered buter milk chicken that came with an salat that could not look very tired. friends man had soul bass that was good. We had two sweets that were okay. Pity like 1 year ago until the day we had a fantastic meal in the swan and had come back to repeat our evening, but unfortunately it was not to be. not sure we will go back next year."

We have visited a few of this brand around the Birmingham area! And once again it has impressed! Good food, good service!

Great service from Georgia and the manager who found us a table when our reservation had gone astray. Good selection of vegetarian options

Lovely setting and very welcoming atmosphere. Nice variety of food to choose from, and tasty. Perhaps a little expensive, but overall an enjoyable experience. Would definitely go back!

How can restaurants get Sunday lunch so wrong! Beef over cooked , chicken ditto and under cooked cauliflower cheese and gravy rationing like there was a war! Lazy pub cooking, I know they take far more care of their starters and a la Carte mains so there is no excuse for cr@p Sunday roasts.

1st birthday visit without mum. vicky and all staff were very attentive from the arrival to the departure. the sea bass and the chicken cake were excellent and the cocktail offer that was available was a pleasant pleasure. we've always looked good when we came with mama and dad to birthdays and jubilees. it is a beautiful environment and worth a visit.

We are a group of four who have lunched in your restaurant for several years. There had been a decline in service which has been dramatically reversed for our last two visits. There must be new management at work! The service staff were intelligent and witty, making such a difference to the experience, combined with excellent menu choices. A very good experience.

we had dinner here last Sunday: we had to wait about 15 minutes before we entered our table, then well over 45 minutes between the waitress who comes to our table to get our order and eat. when the food arrived, the chicken was very over boiled and dry, the lamb was good, the potatoes soggy, the sweet very over boiled and we got a very small amount of heavy force. everything in all was wrong except the lamb. puddings were okay. this was our second time, an experience that should not be repeated.

The Swan did not know of our reservation despite booking it via the app. The waiter told us that unless they check their emails then they don't know about OpenTable reservations. In my opinion, this isnt my problem and something that needs to be discussed with opentable. Our waiter was very unfriendly and did not force a smile for the entirety of our service. However, the food was simply delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I would return to the Swan Inn. I loved the decor and the general feel.

"We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lit pergola under canvas canopies and very comfortable chairs and roomy tables. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our two Labradors. The food was superb. Honestly some of the best traditional-but-next-level pub fare we’ve ever had. I had the pie of the day which was lamb, husband had Cumberland sausages and the kids had burgers. All completely homemade, served quickly, fresh piping hot and with generous portions. Husband suffered from extreme pie envy when he tasted my dish! We couldn’t resist the puds so opted for sticky toffee puddings and chocolate brownie. Again, all homemade, generously portioned and utterly delicious. The food was so good we decided to spend our final meal here and opted for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin of beef which were served with the best (and biggest! Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever had. We’re from Yorkshire and we know a perfect Yorkie when we see (and taste one and these deserve the highest praise. The beef was perfectly cooked, thickly cut and it melted in the mouth. It was served with a generous portion of roast potatoes, cheesy leeks (a personal favourite! , a selection of perfectly cooked veg lovely rich gravy. Desserts were equally fabulous. Genuinely up there with the best food we’ve ever eaten and exceptionally good value. I just wish it was closer to home as we’d be returning constantly! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Perfect food, wonderful service, lovely ambience and surroundings and great value, more than deserving of five stars. Thank you for two wonderful visits, you were a highlight of our holiday!"
