The handcrafted burgers at this restaurant are excellent, especially the Hereford Hop Burger. The rosemary fries are also fantastic and highly recommended.

I've been here a few times and I always get amazing service that makes them feel very comfortable, great selection of local craft beer and apple wines. the burgers are simply fantastic with an updated special card. love this place!

We each had the vegan burger, they were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We had fries and Kimchee on the side and they were good too. The cocktails were fab and the staff were friendly and helpful all round great experience

I ordered a gluten-free chicken burger but when it arrived, the bun looked identical to my son's regular burger. Upon asking, I found out they had given me the wrong bun. Additionally, the chicken was just reheated pieces of chicken.

The yard is a beautiful location, the atmosphere was great. Really enjoyed being there, service was good too. Just the burgers well a little bit disappointed with, over cooked chicken thigh barley any meat on mainly batter. The chips were strangely greasy over done. It all looked amazing but the taste was quite there. The price was expensive for what it was. But definitely go again maybe have the beef next time.

The burgers at this restaurant are delicious and wonderfully presented. If you are lucky enough to get a table outside in The Yard (which cannot be reserved), you have the option to order from The Burger Shop, The Bookshop (a more upscale dining option next door, also owned by the same group), and the new Dark Kitchen, which offers curries. The staff are quick to resolve any issues, just be sure to communicate with them.

I've just had your falafel burger in hay on wye and I was so pleased. I had salad and falafel in a tray with chips instead of a bun it was so delicious I devoured every last bit and nearly all my families chips which were salted to perfection . Loved the salad, really crisp and well dressed and falafel well textured. My husbands burger was gone swiftly and he didn't complain once (miracle) and the children ate all of theirs (miracle again) Friendly helpful staff who despite the heat and busyness of the festival were a pleasure to be around even with my three children.
