Adam's Kitchen - Menu

Whilst visiting Hawick we discovered our Hotel did not have an a la carte restaurant as advertised so we had no food option on Friday evening. We discovered Adams Kitchen by chance and were found a table for two immediately. Delicious food and warm welcome …well done Adams Kitchen !

We can highly recommend this restaurant. We were seated immediately, and the service was spot on. The food was delicious, my partner had the Parsnip and Apple soup to start, followed by crispy chicken and then sticky toffee pudding. I had the lasagne followed by the lemon roulade. The food was piping hot and presented beautifully.

We came to Hawick for a short break. We were disappointed with the demise of the high street and almost missed this unassuming restaurant. However Adam’s Kitchen did not disappoint. We both chose from the specials board the prawns and duck starters were excellent as was the chicken stroganoff main. The friendly service and great price made this a highlight of our trip. We visited Adam's Kitchen with our work colleagues, a group of 10 people. We had a wonderful dinner experience at Adam's Kitchen. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, with generous portion sizes and delicious flavors. The waitresses worked tirelessly to ensure we were comfortable throughout our meal, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the entire staff for a fantastic evening. We will definitely return!

I popped in here in the hope that I could get a meal and was delighted that they were able to accommodate me. The menu was good and I struggled to choose. I opted for lasagne which was delicious. I decided to push the boat out as it was my last night on the Borders Abbey Way and enjoyed a pudding. It was a tough decision between Lemon Roulade and Raspberry Pavlova. I opted for the roulade which was lovely. A great wee place, I’d happily visit again.

While on our holiday in Scotland we called into hawick for a stopover. We found a restaurant called Adam's kitchen and wow what a place really accommodating . Has we had our dog we enquired if they accepted dogs , we were delighted that we were made more than welcome and a booking was accepted with our dog . It is always worth asking! We had a great dining experience at Adams. I simply sent a message to their Facebook page the day before to make a reservation and received a response within 30 minutes. The restaurant was bustling when we arrived at 6:30pm. The service was excellent and the food was of high quality at a very reasonable price. We ordered two courses, shared a dessert, and enjoyed three glasses of wine, all for £65. The lamb chops were outstanding, tender, and flavorful. We will definitely return in the future.

Nice atmosphere at lunchtime. The waiter asked if everything was ok a few times and he was assured it was each time as the food was great. Nice rolls, lovely veg, and the lentil soup was fantastic. My girlfriends wrap was lovely too. The only gripe, a tiny one, the filling for the steak pue is put straight on the plate and the plate was cold, which rendered the filling luke warm but I just stacked chips onto it, which were piping hot and heated the filling. That aside, lovely food, cold beer, lovely staff, lovely experience. We will be back.

We had made a reservation for a table of 13 at this restaurant, where all of us ordered fish except for one person. When the fish dishes started being brought out, they looked lovely and were a great size. However, when it came to my sister and me, our fish was completely different - it appeared to be frozen fish like what you would find in a supermarket. We were charged £15 for this dish and were not happy with the quality. We believe that we should have been given the option to choose a different dish from the menu, but unfortunately, this was not offered to us.
