"We went for lunch looking to have a fresh fish meal but we were disappointed. We all ordered the spaghetti with sea urchins, we asked if the sea urchins were fresh and we were told they were. We asked to have some urchins raw to eat them as appetizers and we were told it was not possible and that already made us suspected that they were not fresh as they claimed. Once we received the spaghetti and we tasted then we got the confirmation that the sea urchins were not fresh, the pasta didn't taste of urchins nor bottarga (that it was supposed to be part of the dish), it just didn't taste of anything and the spaghetti were not cooked enough, way too al dente. As we didn't finished our dishes when we were asked if everything was ok we expressed our disappointment and the owner/manager of the restaurant didn't take it very well, he didn't accept the criticism about the dish and came to our table yelling and showing his sea urchins sauce that he put on the table quite rudely. He said that his sauce was coming from the south of Italy so he confirmed that it was not fresh!!! The sea urchins were prepared elsewhere in the south of Italy and shipped to his restaurant, which is fine but you need to say it and not lie about it and get upset if someone point this out. You can't sell something as fresh if it is not !!! We paid 82 euros for 3 plates of sea urchins spaghetti and 2 bottles of water and we left hungry and disappointed as we didn't eat. On top of that we were not well treated by the manager which is very rude and doesn't accept criticism about his lies. I have been to Caorle since I was a child and I was never disappointed like this."

The food is some of the best I’ve had in Italy. Our party of 8 allowed the owner to select our food, and we weren’t disappointed. If you want the freshest of fish, served and cooked at its best, I would highly recommend here.perfect. Fresh fish View menu
