"A disturbing experience with the service, once again. I had hoped that things would improve now that the challenges posed by COVID are largely behind us. However, the staff here still show little interest in assisting with orders or offering any recommendations. The waitress practically tossed the menus onto our table. We found ourselves having to wave our hands just to get their attention, which is unacceptable, especially given the high price of around £100. This behavior contradicts the beautiful Japanese culture of hospitality and warmth, making the experience incredibly disappointing."

the bento boxes are beginning to look a bit worn and probably need replacing also the presentation of the Miso soup in a white porcelain catering cup was disappointing I did ask for no potato but some came anyway

We only had afternoon tea and our view may not be representative. Overall the restaurant is more catering to the english or intl tasts. Ambiance was also on the crowded and noisy side. Service was efficient but may not up to the decree of extreme politeness as one experiences in japan.
