the friar is a guarantee: small cases, tartares and especially the stracotto are untouchable. sin only the service a little slower and neglected than usual, but surely I will return.

Excellent Location. Staff works very hard. But, they are overwhelmed. Food was excellent. But, they forgot to bring my main course. Took 15 minutes or more for waiter to take a drink/food order .

We were so happy with the quality of the food and the kindness of the service that we came twice in a week. Typical and homemade food. Rabbit and Tarte tatin are just excellent. Price is reasonable. I will come back again for my next visit in Brescia.

during a walk through the breeze we discovered the beautifully laid tables in a narrow alley and we were welcomed friendlyly. the service was good, even the food was very good. I found it nice because we chose tuna bottarga, which the waiter pointed out to us that it tastes a little different. Since I already knew the bottarga, I liked it.

Unfortunately, as a local, I have to say that this restaurant disappointed me quite a lot. I decided to give it a chance because I had always seen a lot of people there but now I know that all of them are tourists. Well, if you visit the town you’d better to go to another one of the many local restaurants around. Service is poor, local menu is poor to. Food is very mediocre (frozen bread, meat was not tender and local pasta a bit sticky).

I was in this restaurant in the center of Brescia and it was very useful to know it as you eat well . the fresh appetizers and even the sig.ra brought some cooked ham for my son, instead of making him eat various meats, the first fresh and abundant. The second I only saw them but they had a discreet face and to say my sister excellent meat. The only flaw I think is covered. too dear to the days of today.. approximately euro . in the good complex.

After the visit to the beautiful castle of Brescia we were recommended by a kind lady of the place “go to the friar and you will taste special dishes of brescia and not”. nice location though a little dated the decor, very kind staff and surrendered. but now we pass to the strong piece the dishes! we in three have tried: meat of bresciana with butter and pappardelle of sage with meat ragout of mashed potatoes and chestnut flour with bagoss fondue in my incredible opinion! because the dishes are abundant we opted for a second in trippa in wet with integral polenta. very successful and abundant dish. a bottle of cheap mineral water, very interesting instead the bottle of wine stapped at the mo...
