"Had a casual lunch with some friends in Butlers Wharf Chop House, we went for the set lunch in the bar area rather than the main restaurant. For a restaurant known for its meat, the set menu surprisingly did not include any, just a rather nice selection of vegetarian dishes and one fish dish. For starters we had the Vegetable and Barley soup, tasty and very wintry, but as the sky was dark with rain, it rather suited the day. The Heritage Tomato salad was also delicious, so fresh it reminded one of my friends of her childhood eating tomatoes straight from the garden. I had the red onion and cheese tart which I really enjoyed, the onions were very sweet and the combinations just worked. The Ling and runner beans needed a side order to complete the dish and the perfectly cooked Jersey potatoes were ideal. For dessert we ordered the Knickerbocker glory (nothing special), but the Secretts Farm Plums, Praline and Vanilla ice cream was well received, even if it was difficult to eat from the glass bowl. The service was also very good, the staff were friendly and efficient. The only time we had any issue was when we came to pay the bill and found the bar area empty of staff."

I assume my food at the Chophouse will be good, but not great. I assume service will be okay. They exceed our expectations in so many ways as to have me repeatedly wonder out loud, And why is it that I have never eaten here before? Firstly, the bread. T

very beautiful! we had a fantastic Sunday dinner in the chophouse. I would describe eating as modern brides. it was all very well presented and perfectly cooked, especially my fish dish. the service was not at any point and the location is fantastic, with view of the tower bridge and the themses.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff, especially Jash, provided excellent service. The location is great, just near Tower Bridge, although it can be a bit tricky to find on your first visit. There are several nearby landmarks on the map that might be confusing. The gin selection is amazing, and I highly recommend trying the Affe 47. I would definitely return!

if they make a nice lunch with a view, they can not be much better than right in front of the tower bridge in london. the wharf chop house by butler has an excellent place for it and eating is just as perfect as the lookout. theny and I were invited to try out their “Ultimate chop house Picnic”, which is a picnic sink full of absolute joys, all presented in a basket with gingham tablecloth.

What's wrong? This is the return of the butlers wharf chop house bar. Those who explore the river Thames south bank will welcome the bar and the new No-Frills menu, where simple, delicious British farewell to the middle point. who's behind it? the butlers wharf chop house bar grill offers a spacious, heated terrace with incomparable view of the tower bridge and the city. the task of the bar to ride the Gin trend of the capital, it is to keep it locally and celebrate small producers, among them those of bermondsey.

Booking a table for four on a Friday night at Butlers Wharf Chop House was surprisingly easy and I even managed to book the three courses for £20 Best of British Menu , so I was expecting it to be pretty quite in there. I couldn 't have been more wrong: the place was packed making for a very vibrant and enjoyable Friday night atmosphere. The service was up to the usual high D&D level that I 've now realised is standard across the whole portfolio. The food was pretty good too. Chef 's homemade black pudding, ham hock hash, Hen 's egg Very peppery black pudding and a fantastic poached egg. I could have eaten a bucket load of the hash (just wish I 'd asked what was in it and I was having too go...
