"My parents and myself were so excited to visit Allard for supper. But wow were we disappointed - there was nothing at all redeeming about our experience.First off, We waited over 20 minutes for the drinks and I'm positive they would never have arrived if we didn't remind them five times. Eventually our starters were served, followed by our drinks!Secondly, the decor was average, I understand they are trying to make it an authentic bistro but I think standing on a packed train in India would have been more comfortable: The chairs were similar in comfort to something you would have sat on a school, your elbows touched the neighbouring table and it was so hot we were all sweating.Thirdly, The food was below par. Not one of our courses was even worth a mention. And finally, the service was atrocious. We had to remind them we were still waiting for our mains, we then had to ask them to clear our finished plates and we basically had to beg for the bill. The bill was wrong but we were so anxious to get out of there we couldn't be bothered to correct it as we knew we would be there for another hour waiting.Plenty of other nice restaurants in Paris at a fraction of the price. Avoid."

Everything is perfect with a small flat on the choice of dish that is limited

Well but expensive for what it is... good service and good plan, but a little too fat. Even being a French cuisine, not an obligation that everything is fat

Just went there. Every time I go is outstanding. We had the crab cakes the duck and cheese. The service and the attention was flawless, well done. I am from America and this is my 7th time in Allard, it never fails. Good Job !!

The service was very good. The wine and sommelier very great. But the food was very average, and honestly disappointing. Considering the prices, we had somewhat expectations which were not at all according to the food taste, we ordered the duck, beef and cheese.

We were pleasantly surprised by both the location and the cuisine. Excellent. The downside is that obviously the majority of guests are foreigners and people spontaneously address you in English, including handing you cards in this language. Even if this language is very familiar to us, it does not seem appropriate to me not to at least welcome guests in the language of the country. Apart from that absolutely perfect, excellent welcome, excellent cuisine (all the dishes were delicious and fresh. . Impeccable service despite the many people present. We will return with pleasure!

Found our way to Allard's while in Paris for our wedding anniversary. What a find! Quaint, tiny restaurant, with great ambience. You enter through the kitchen to a small dining room on the corner of two streets in the old center of Paris. Sommelier was wonderful and recommended a great wine. Wait person also great. Everyone offered to speak English, which helped because my high school French was limited. Music in the background was various French singers, which added to the Parisian feel. The meal was wonderful. Chef sent a tasty cucumber salad to our table, with amazing cheese puffs. We had escargot and steak tartar as starters, both wonderful. Homemade whole grain bread added to the meal....
