"We were in Berwick overnight and looked at several places to eat before deciding to try here .It had been several years since we had eaten in an Indian restaurant and we were certainly not disappointed .The restaurant was lovely inside and the staff were welcoming and friendly .We had pakoras to start with then my husband had lamb biryani and I had butter chicken .The meat in both dishes was very tender and both meals were delicious .We also had cheese naan bread and a peshwari naan bread which if that had been all we had we would have been delighted .The peshwari naan was so delicious we wished we had ordered two .The cost of thd meal was very reasonable for the delicious food. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an Indian meal ."

Fabulous Dahl starter and really tasty chicken dish with mint, mango and cream. Excellent service, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant and a must if in Berwick!

When we went the staff were watching football. They refused to turn it off. They felt that they were doing us a favour by turning the volume down a bit. No one asked if food was ok or whether we wanted anything else. Hardly an Indian ambience. Food average, portions small. Will never go again. View menu

First time at this indian restaurant as it was recommended by our friends and to our surprise food was absolutely delicious. Started with Saffron fish and for our main we had Machli kurma and Chingri chilli ..... rice naan and chapati oh yes and dessert Thanks Highly recommended Can't wait to ho back

I go to different Indian restaurants all over the UK and I can honestly say this little gem of a restaurant is up there with a top 5 fantastic service and the food is top 5 in the uk they have got it correct the curry is just right good balance and proper taste don't even think about it give them a try
