Fab Devon cream tea and such lovely service. Loved the Victoria Sponge too Traditional and just what we were looking for. Fab scone. Loved it.

now, what can I say, an amazing afternoon tee today, the size of the cake omg , finished up to 2 slices after home, bit expensive but the extra money worth, very generous and very tasty

beautiful old building. the cakes in the window pulled us in. we were squeezed and ordered. when a larger table was available, we were moved. the food was delicious (common lunch and cake). the apple cake was worth it alone.

Popped in for some grub it was lovely! I had scampi with chips my wife had jacket spud with cheese it was lovely! Nice friendly staff too! Went back today for Ham, eggs chips. The wife had cheddar cheese branston sandwich with hot chocolate. Scrummy!

Nice, pleasant quirky café on the high street. Lovely food and cakes. Nice serving staff and owner. Loses a star for coffee grounds at the bottom of the cappuccino. Gentle note to owner: if you 're going to have a word with your waitress, please do so out of earshot of your customers. Thanks.

really nice tea room, with super courteous staff. my youngest wanted a sausage sand with (not on the menu) and a vanilla milkshake (only taste not on the menus) and they were more than happy to commit. we had the afternoon of the queen for 2, which was delicious, and the children were very happy with their lunch. fantastic cake, moist and tasteful. very much.

we were just a few hours in dead as it was the goal of our south devon railways tour. we found the city mesmerizing. there were so many quirky and wonderful caffes that it was difficult to decide. at the end we landed in the anne of cleves. we had the cream tea and a pot of red bush tea. the schurke we john told, who also served us, baked himself, was pretty good. the dipped cream and the jam were pretty, both we interacted with were warm and welcoming. that had a problem with the card machine, but glad we had some money on us. we enjoyed our short visit very much.

What a lovely find in Totnes! My son and I came in for lunch as we were having a day out for my birthday. Couldn't of picked a nicer tearoom. Staff were so friendly and we had a long chat with Nashima not sure if I have that right! . We liked it so much we went back later for a cup of tea and my son had a gluten free scone. When we went to pay, Nashima wouldn't let us pay, she said it was a treat for my birthday! How kind is that?!! She was very helpful as my son is coeliac, and there was plenty of choice for him. We will definitely be visiting again as lunch was really good. It added to a lovely day out. Highly recommend eating here!!

Rude, condescending and sarcastic owner/ man serving. Everything was expensive and done as very shabbily. The scones were hard as rock and so dry A tiny pot of clotted cream had to pay extra for this! and £6.00 for a slice of dry cake. An extremely uncomfortable and tense atmosphere- the man was talking to people in such a rude way. Many dirty tables, sticky filthy menus and a dark depressing atmosphere pervaded! We went as a special trip and we all found the experience very negative and very depressing Sugar sachets were not provided and when I asked for some he said ‘ needy!’ Loudly so much so that other customers turned around Dirty trays left on sticky tables I couldn’t wait to get out o...
