Lovely meal to celebrate a friend's birthday. 9 of us in all, we had pizzas, risottos, lasagnas, plenty of drinks (house red was very quaffable), Panna cotta and gelatos. Excellent food, first class service too.

Lovely Italian restaurant with seating over 2 floors and plenty of local paid for parking. The welcome was warm staff friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food quality was very high, portion sizes generous and prices reasonable, especially given the quality. The wine list was also well worth a visit!! View menu

First time ordering from Antica Roma.. and all I can say is wow! Absolutely fantastic staff, very welcoming and accommodating, the restaurant is very well furnished with a warm wood setting throughout.. the food was amazing!! I ordered a vast amount of pizza and pasta and I can say it was thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome and the delicious food! I will definitely be back in the near future. If you haven't tried food from Antica Roma yet.. you're missing out on an amazing experience!

Having not visited Antica for a while it was such a pleasant surprise to see the old faces back in charge. Even though we hadn't booked we were greeted warmly and quickly seated. We had the calamari and whitebait starters which were hot and delicious. The chef was happy to make a pizza to our individual needs which was perfectly cooked with those nice crispy stone baked edges, all washed down with a great bottle of red wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, Vladi and his team made us (Mr Mrs Valentino : very welcome and we will definitely be returning soon. It's great to have a such a high quality restaurant in the town.

Went here for a Birthday meal,it was very enjoyable from start to finish,the food was delicious all cooked to perfection in the authentic Italian style.The menu had a lot to choose from with a very wide variety of lovely dishes.All the staff we’re very nice and made you all feel welcome.With a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere,it was very busy as it has become a very popular restaurant in the town of Calne in Wiltshire.will definitely go back to sample some more of this lovey Italian food.I can highly recommend this restaurant,booking is essential.....
