Wonderful meal with great service! Fish was super and fresh! An unexpected find on such a small island where I spent my childhood summers

We had a nice evening in this cost restaurant. We shared a sole, baked in butter, exactly the way it should be. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. A good find in the horeca offer of Helgoland

I tried most of the items that are on the menu and they are very tasty. If you don't feel like eating a meat dish however, try the big salat with goat cheese. It's very straightforward yet tasty

make sure you book everybody eats early and the restaurants close early. This restaurant is very popular because the food is so good. We ate here twice and we really enjoyed our meal. The wine and beer is ok also

the people now running this Aquarium Cafe Restaurant just took over from old owner and are doing their best to make it a nice restaurant. Remember you are on a very small island and there is not too much to make it different from the...rest. I have one tip: order your drink before you order your dinner, otherwise you have to wait quite some time before you can enjoy drinking, wich is a must, since you are on a very small island...

I´m a fish lover. I tried several restaurants in Hergoland and here i found in my opinion the best fish with a big portion that is always welcome. The atmosphere is nice, the service also and at least to dinner, is important to book the...same at the other restaurants of the Island. Hergoland is a small island and for people that don't book, there is a risk of not finding a place to sit and dinner. And most of the places to eat close early so i would say the best time to book a table is betten and to have also time to enjoy the meal

There's not much to choose from on Helgoland in November as most restaurants are only open after and many are not open days a week and a few more are closed.I was relieved to find one so good and reasonable that even had...excellent desserts.Aquarium Cafe is decorated with pictures from Helgoland's past and even has a continually running documentary on its television.I ordered a dish that was a sampler of different North Sea fish, pan fried and breaded which was very good and accompanied by fries.The service was prompt, friendly and professional. My Pannfisch was which I found reasonable for an isolated island hours from shore.My dessert was extraordinary.Bailey's Irish Cream is all the rage...
