"We had a family wedding on Saturday, and it was absolutely fantastic! Organizing any event during these COVID times can be quite stressful, but the staff really went above and beyond to ensure that all safety measures were in place while still allowing us to have a normal wedding experience. I’d like to extend my gratitude to Molly and Lucy for making the day run smoothly; it was an absolute pleasure working with them, and they truly deserve a medal! The rest of the staff also did a wonderful job taking care of us. The food was incredible—definitely a 10 out of 10! The feedback I’ve been receiving from our guests is that it was the best wedding they’ve attended in a long time, and a huge part of that is due to the professionalism of The Crannagh and their fantastic team. Thank you so much!"

I had breakfast with two friends this morning, the full fry was cold on a cold plate. Food was returned and was no better the second time. Very poor show.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Crannagh tonight. The service was excellent and all waiting staff were attentive. Everything was really tasty and served promptly even when we made some changes to the set menu so we could have faulted it. Furthermore, their hygiene systems in place were excellent and we felt extremely safe. We would highly recommend it. View menu

Went for lunch with my sister today. Hand Sanitiser and temperature check on arrival. Shown to table in the marquee. All tables well spaced out, floor markings and social distancing signage plus staff wearing masks and visors. Food and service excellent. Relaxed and safe place.to go for a bite to eat in the current climate. It's nice to see an establishment who clearly put staff and customers welfare above profit. Well done to the staff will definitely be back.

When I asked for the bill, however, I was met with a grunt from a staff member who seemed overwhelmed, expressing that they were extremely busy. I found this remark discouraging, especially since she implied that we were only there for the 50 percent discount. When I went to pay, I noticed Lucy was still extremely busy, being called on by other staff members from the kitchen, yet she still managed to be attentive to our party. The food was outstanding, but I wouldn't recommend the welcoming attitude of some of the staff.

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
