"Called in on a Monday evening (happy hour). I had garlic mushroom on puree for starters, lamb chilli tikka masala with mushroom pilau. My wife had onion bhaji with chicken dupiaza. Both were utterly delicious and the service was not just professional but very warm, friendly and chatty. The staff in the kitchen were obviously enjoying their shift too we were sat near the kitchen. This isn't a criticism as happy staff produce great results and Ashoka serves really nice food. This is our fourth time here we aren't locals and every time has been spot on. Three pints of Cobra, a garlic naan plus the above a bill for under £55. So add great value to the great food and great service thank you for a great night at the Harbour."

Fantastic food every time and the service is best ever. I started with lamb's liver, now as a cook myself I know how hard it is to cook liver perfect, but to do it in a tandoor is magic. I would Defo recommend this place.

fantastic! recently had a meal in ashoka and it was absolutely beautiful. the staff was very friendly and went out to make me 2 dishes that were not even on the menu. eating was great, great atmosphere. I couldn't owe it. can't wait for the next visit.
