"the food was cheap, and the portions were good, the staff was brilliant, cheerful and very helpful. the atmosphere was beautiful, with a view over piccadilly gardens that became better than the night dark. free homemade limonade at the arrival was also a beautiful note and tasted wonderful. the employees gave enough time to choose drinks first, then we left again so that we could choose food orders. the service was fast and the food was hot. the personal did not suggest us at all. so all in all, it was a nice experience, I would highly recommend."

The food is good, but it could use a bit more spice. I ordered the Nduja pizza and the brownie. The brownie was very tasty and served warm. However, the beers weren't very impressive.

The waiter was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding—especially the Teigkäse Eier (I forgot the exact name, but it was an appetizer!). It was truly a delightful experience!

A fairly good place for some takeaway food or a reliable dine-in experience. Staff are quite professional and helpful and the place is clean and well organised. Nice they gave free cheese as well and the food was nice and hot.

This restaurant is conveniently located and tends to get quite busy, especially during events in the gardens, so it's advisable to make a reservation. The menu features a wide range of delicious Italian dishes. The lasagna was exactly the comforting meal I needed after a long, tiring day.

in the restaurant were 10 minutes to wait until someone would see us, although the restaurant was not busy. when the waiter informed us, the pizza oven was out of order, which was regrettable, because we both wanted pizza with him an Italian. So we left the restaurant. we were in the scarborough filiale restaurant, before that was superior to those in a lottery. would not recommend, friends

Lovely atmosphere and not too busy! They've a QR code you can scan on the menu for ordering or go the traditional route. They do a great job of asking about allergies and the food is delivered timely. I got the Manzo Piccante and the N'duja Cheese dough bites. Overall both dishes were good but could have used a bit more flavor. If they had salt and pepper at the table it would have helped. I would still come back and reccomend for good Italian food.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
