"Was originally invited to join a luncheon club which met there once a month. Not sure what to expect as out in the sticks somewhat. However, all was revealed in a large open plan dining room, which seats up to about 100+ people. Plain tables and decor but clean and tidy with obviously a local clientele. We were a party of 12 but by the time we sat down, there were not many places left. Red and rosé wine in carafes were on the table and were refilled as one wished. Food is always good, starting with local soup normally garbure followed by jambon du pays or other, then on to steak frites, confit duck or whatever is available that day. A good carte du jour has a wider selection, but the menu du jour is what one should follow as there is always something for everyone and at a superb price of €12 to include the wine. but coffee is a little extra. Well worth the detour to find Au Rey"
