"I go to this place every time that I visit Paris. In the old days, you could just walk in and find a table. No longer. It is very popular and requires reservations. My daughters treated me this time. It's a great place, especially for provincial cuisine. I had the excellent bouef bourgignon and daughters had the duck in a honey sauce. But not before we had the onion soup. These were beautiful dishes, but the treat of the evening is always the profiteroles dessert -- never pass it up. The staff are very friendly and the location on the Isle Saint Louis is romantic and center of the city. Do not miss this place."

Have dined here a number of times and it's still a joy. Dark, cool and a great place to let time fly by. Boeuf Bourgignon excellent with good house wine. View menu

The food was luscious and service and price great. Traditional french yet very cosmopolitan. Wines are top knotch and dinner with a bottle of great wine was easily affordable

So nice to find a great little place with proud attentive servers. The food was excellent as expected from the reviews, and we decided after that we should have split the main course (Beef Bourgogne) after the Entrees of Crusted goat cheese w salad and Tortellini.

We visited to this restaurant after a long day walking around Paris with 3 kids and it was just the best! The staff was lovely and the food was even better. The beef bourgnion pleased a tuff crowd when the topic is meat and the filled mignon was superb. Will visit again when next in Paris! View menu

We had eaten here during our first trip to Paris 7 or 8 years ago and had a wonderful experience. This time was a disappointment. The major issue was extremely poor service. The owner admitted he was running between his three restaurants during the evening. Unfortunately he was also our server. We waited excessively for everything from our wine, to each course and had to ask several times for bread. The meal was average and we will not be back next time.

I wanted the food in this restaurant to be as good as the location since we adore finding great restaurants on Ile Saint-Louis. Our server was charming and the starters WERE good; onion soup for my husband and escargots for me but the boeuf bourguignon and maigret de canard left much to be desired. On the plus side, the tiramisu de pistache saved the day! Also, the portions are large and it is super reasonable so it would be a great restaurant for a family!
