Two friends and I returned to the Auberge du Lion d'Or on May 6, 2017. The pâté maison was as good as ever, the trout was as delicious as ever and the ile flottant was just as etherial as ever. A quick stop one afternoon during a cycling trip, I enjoyed myself and was only able to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat buffet for starters and desserts so as not to be too heavy.
