"We were in La Cava, downstairs, where the cellar of the house where the restaurant is located would have been for years. You can see that it is a place with a long family tradition. A place of flavor, of thunder, of old-fashioned hospitality... Officiating the owner who works still having a recent inguinal hernia operation.... The weekend works the milk, during the week maybe not so much.... A friend of the gang had been there, for work, months ago and he demanded that we go to that place, yes or yes... and we went!!! how not to go !!!! On the outside it is discreet, nothing flashy, on the entrance street to the town by the road. You enter and, after a mini hall, you go to the dining room at the top. Noise, fuss motion. Doubts remain as to whether you have succeeded. The local bathrooms decorated with daring but artistic paintings The owner, lord and master of the place of worship, sat us down... and we were delighted: inside the winery, away from people... The first notice was worth its weight in gold: be careful that the portions menus here are large. And they had to be because a menu for 90 euros seemed very much. Very expensive. He wisely explained to us that, with a menu, 2 pax eat long and left over... that we were not from Bilbao (which we are), that we were soft, little by little... we were 6 pax, we ordered 2 menus and reinforced with two first courses of pecking to our liking and we hit!!! Everything was very good... very good. The meat (Txuleton and roast lamb) spectacular. Some described it as the best roast lamb eaten in a long time.....The wine is not so good but we are too many foodies sometimes... The service is fast, friendly, attentive...we didn 't wait a minute... The dessert assortment of cakes to share among the 6 all: delicious. Like silk. Very good. a success. recommendable Vegetarian options: Not at all. There are local products (vegetables, salads) but it is a temple for the Carnivore... Kid-friendliness: There are, there are... there is no doubt that children come in... but I don 't know if this place is the most appropriate due to the size of the portions, type of food, etc... hungry, a child, hence , it does not come out .. Parking: difficult. You have to park in the town square and walk. Is not far. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60"
