The restaurant is located in a nice area and offers good service and food. It's a refreshing change from being in a basement, as the well-lit and airy space provides a pleasant environment to sit in.

We booked a table for 16, and this may have been an issue. Communication with the restaurant was not straightforward, so whilst they initially told us that we didn't need to pre order they subsequently asked us to but too late. Consequently food was not very good and service was not up to scratch either. I'd drink there, but having had a similar experience the previous day with a table for 3, I wouldn't rush back to eat anything other than a sandwich or burger through necessity. View menu

balls brothers has been close to us since 1860 and now has a chain of places in whole london they take seriously drinks here; there are various picture card guides, for cocktails recommended according to not desired. be it gin, whisky, wein. my net impressed me; boiled so delicately juicy brat pork, and melted in my mouth after the deep apfel apple apfel apfel sauce. sautéed scallops tasted so fresh and the maic was perfection, cooked with a buttery taste with a thick smooth texture.

The overall experience was good, service was friendly and prompt, with the food coming out quickly. White wine was lovely and cold. I was disappointed to find on arrival the restaurant was closing at 15.00 for a private booking and as our table was for 13.00 this did not give us enough time for the afternoon we had planned in the restaurant. In the end we only had a main course before we had to leave and find another location to complete our afternoon get together. I strongly feel this should have been disclosed at the time of booking the table.
