Balls Brothers - Mayfair Exchange

Though it looks very charming, the music was so loud it overrode everything else. Even the staff could barely hear what you’re saying.

The food was delicious and the service was good. However, the noise level on Friday night made it difficult to have a conversation at the dining table.

The food was Ok and the service friendly but despite repeated requests they were unable to turn down the loud and inappropriate background music which made conversation difficult.

Balls Brothers in Mayfair was exceptionally quite on a Sat evening. The decor was nice, however the food was uninspiring and there was no ambience being so quiet. Honestly, there are much better options around in the area.

We had a fantastic evening and the food was excellent. The only downside was that they were out of several items on the menu. It took a bit of effort to get the waiters' attention, but they were very friendly and helpful once they came to our table.

Food, service, wine etc all good. Only negative is that the music was so loud that if we hadn't been in the private room we'd have had to leave and not eat there after all. Conversation in the main bar impossible unless standing for after-work drinks.

Great location, and nicely decorated space inside. However, the service was really slow. We sat for 30 mins waiting for a coffee, before we ordered our lunch. And even then the waiters never really came over. I actually asked if it was bar service as I thought it must have been. Its a shame, because the people that worked there were super friendly, they just seemed massively understaffed or under-trained. Tasty food though

I had arranged a dinner team for 9 guests to celebrate some recent results. Unfortunately our experience at Balls Brothers was not the best, we were not greeted on arrival, we waited 10 minutes then I had to go and ask for menus and someone to take our drinks order. There was then limited menu items available because they had been busy most of the table wanted steak but there was only one portion left...in general it was very slow and painful service but the quality of the food was good. They just need to improve the dining experience and rave music is probably not the best choice for your clientele.

1. When we arrived, we were seated at our table without being given menus. We had to go to the bar to get someone's attention and order drinks. 2. We waited about 25 minutes to receive menus, and when we finally did, we were given only two for a group of 8. 3. We had to ask multiple times for someone to come take our order. 4. When we finally placed our order, we were told that many dishes were no longer available. 5. The waiter accidentally spilled a whole glass of red wine on the table while clearing the starters. 6. All main courses were served except for one, which belonged to the lone vegetarian in our group. We had to keep reminding the staff, and eventually, a waiter sheepishly inform...
