"Four of us had one of the best New Year's Eve celebrations at Tenby House. At £85 each, we were initially hesitant about the free bar starting from 8:00 PM and the buffet food, but it exceeded our expectations. The bar was well-staffed, with no long queues, and any drink we desired was included in the price (although they had run out of Baileys). The hot buffet until 10:30 PM was delicious and well-organized, followed by a cold buffet with plenty of choices. The staff were all lovely and the event was well-coordinated. Although it was busy, it was not overly crowded. The only downside was queuing outside to ensure getting a table, as not everyone with a ticket could be seated. We were fortunate to secure a table, as standing for six hours would not have been as enjoyable. In the future, it may be beneficial for them to sell tickets for tables and seats on a first-come, first-served basis, with standing-only tickets available at a slightly lower price. I would highly recommend Tenby House and look forward to returning. Thank you, Tenby House!"

It’s ok. Food not bad, not a great selection of drinks. It is rather expensive. Great to watch sport has a decent sized beer garden.

I have never had a more outstanding Sunday lunch in my 53 years on this planet. I cannot find any fault with it, and the party of 6 I was dining with felt the same way. Great job! We will definitely be back next time.

The service was prompt and efficient, with a welcoming staff. The restaurant is dog-friendly, and our beagles were warmly welcomed as well. The food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.

A nice traditional pub, just popped in for a drink and decided to eat in. We ordered scampi and chips and fish and chips. Can’t fault the food which was hot, not greasy at all and plenty of it. Prices reasonable too would definitely go again

I have been to Tenby many times before, but this is the first time I have been here and it won’t be the last! A fantastic bar/ restaurant, plenty of sports and a fantastic olde world decor. The staff are good the log fire is great and the food is honest pub grub (with a bit extra

The place itself was well furnished and had a pleasant ambience. However, we found the staff to be quite rude and unwelcoming. We ordered the fish and chips and unfortunately this was a very expensive mistake to make. There was no taste to the fish and it looked very unappetising. It was pale with soggy batter. Neither I or my husband ate it. Didn't feel like we could complain to the staff as they were not very approachable. Would not recommend it for people to eat here. Left feeling hungry and grabbed a pizza on way back to our hotel

Fantastic pub, very traditional couldn't believe how busy the restaurant was, I think every table was used. I did notice someone with a fish and chips and the fish looked a bit small, I thought to my self, I hope he ordered an OAP, small or child's portion. Happy hour was my best part, I had gotten there by luck just past 16:00, and then chose the small table on the right. After a short while all the locals seemed to pop in and the banter was great. I felt extremely welcome and I will pop in each year as I traditionally have a welsh holiday each year. I was the annoying person playing pool on my iPad if the management remembers me, see you again next year. And I think you owe me a shot of wh...

I walked down to the Tenby House pub where a large board outside the bar detailed that the Rugby World Cup Game between England and Japan would be on tv. I walked in, bought an expensive pint of flat as a fart beer and sat waiting for the match. As the national anthems played, Buster Blood Vessel was belting out Lip Up Fatty on the loudspeakers so I went to the bar and asked if they were putting the commentary on for the game. The barmaid replied, “No, I don’t think we are”. I have to admit to being more than a little miffed, I mean why say they are going to show the game, and for me that means no loud pop music, it means an atmosphere created by the commentators no matter who is playing or...

"Nobody welcomed us. The only empty table seated five people. I checked with a member of staff that it was the only table, and she said yes so we sat down. She was adept at avoiding eye contact but eventually I managed to ask her if we should order at the counter and she said no, she would come to us. To be fair, that information was printed on the menu but the staff in most cafes can manage a cheery 'hello, take a seat, I 'll be with you in a minute ' or suchlike. When she did arrive, we told her we would be happy to share the table, but she didn 't respond, and we had it to ourselves the whole time even though the place was busy. Nice for us but seems a bit unfair on others. We ordered coffee, kombucha, a veggie breakfast (there is only a vegan breakfast on the menu but we asked to swap the avocado for a fried egg and use ordinary butter on the toast, which they were happy to do), and I asked for scrambled egg, avocado, mushrooms and hash brown which were all available as separate breakfast items. They asked if I wanted the avocado sliced or smashed, and I opted for sliced. My kombucha arrived in a sealed can with a separate glass. I poured it, took a sip and realised the glass was smeared with lipstick, which I do not wear myself. When I pointed this out they brought me a fresh one. At least mine didn 't explode like another poor diner 's did, with a bang that made us all jump and sprayed the drink all over her glasses, face, hair, and the window next to her. My companion 's breakfast arrived quite a long time before mine, so much so that I told him to start so it wouldn 't get cold. When mine arrived it was all on top of toast which I had not ordered and did not want as I am gluten intolerant just as well I 'm not coeliac. They took it back and removed the toast quite quickly. The scrambled egg was a generous portion, but very hard and solid, so not particularly nice to eat. About two thirds of the avocado was fine, not perfectly ripe but definitely edible. The other one third was browning and fibrous so I left that on the plate. My companion said his breakfast was good, and he ate it all. When we went to the counter to pay, again we were kept waiting for quite a long time with no word from the staff member present a quick 'I 'm sorry to keep you, I won 't be long ' or something would have gone a long way. I would not be enthusiastic about eating here again."
