Beast - Menu

Went as a party of 6 ..2 adults 4 teenagers. ..not a peep but the sound of mmmmmm. 2 had zebra .2 8oz .1 pound and a chicken nuggets and chips . had sides if hot wings and ribs ...empty plates all round ...friendly staff . great service .great food .well done

We went to this restaurant with a large group and were surprised to find that the burgers were spiced with chili, which we were not aware of. Some of us found them too hot and did not enjoy our meals. The waitresses also split their time between this restaurant and Cotton Eyed Joe's, so we hardly saw them. Overall, we would not choose to return to this restaurant.

Tried here for the first time tonight and loved it. Cheesy nachos and mozzarella to share for starters, nuggets and chips for the kids and chile burgers and chips for the adults all for under £40!! The food was delicious, the decor is American style and the 'kids eat free ' deal made for excellent value. If that wasn 't enough the staff too were very pleasant. Lovely friendly staff. Decor was expectional even though we were in Cotton Joe's. We ordered the nachos for a starter which was huge and full of cheese and jalepenos and two dips. My partner ordered the Zebra burger and I ordered the Kangaroo burger. Both were really filling and had a distinctive taste. The Zebra was especially good. All in all a lovely different restaurant. Defintely reccomended if visitng Torquay.

in any case recommend going here, we went during our annual visit torquay. it is the first time that they have changed their names of cotton eyed joe’s. the food was still the same great food, we went early when we wanted it to be less busy. the burger was very tasty, the chips beautiful and crisp, and their customer service was also on the ground. if they are in the opposite and like American themed restaurants, then in any case they try this place!

Visited around 9.45 on Sunday evening, close to closing time. Restaurant quite busy with groups and couples so always a good sign. Staff very happy to accommodate us. We didn't really want a full meal so were offered the Beast menu. Cotton Tail Joe is next door and both restaurant are linked. Menu looks similar but CTJ includes chips and sides etc at slightly higher price Service was fast and friendly, food was really good and well priced. Presentation is smart and meat content top notch. A group of 9 of us dined at Beast restaurant and unfortunately, we were all disappointed with the experience. The service was subpar, with some staff members struggling with English and not understanding our requests. We had to send back two orders multiple times as we had ordered plain burgers for the children but received burgers with extra ingredients just haphazardly scrapped off. The burgers were dry, poorly presented, and tasted bland, not living up to the standard we expected. Overall, we felt that the food was overpriced and of low quality. We have decided not to return and would suggest going to Burger King instead.

My girlfriend and I entered Torquay with an open mind about what we wanted to eat, almost went to Wetherspoons, but we are so glad we didn't! The restaurant had a beautifully themed decor and the service was quick and friendly. My girlfriend enjoyed a bacon and cheeseburger, while I opted for the wild boar burger. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and the fries were seasoned perfectly. We would definitely return. The only small critique I have is that while the prices were reasonable at just under £30 for both of our meals and drinks, it was a bit cheeky that the fries were only available as an optional side dish, rather than coming with the burgers as a meal for a...

We initially visited on Tuesday evening but were unable to get a table in Beast as that side was closed due to staff absence. We were told we could eat in Cotton Eye Joes with the Beast menu however she said we'd have to wait half an hour for a table. We decided to go back a different night as we wanted to eat in the Beast side, so we took a card and phoned to book.
