Beefeater At The Glegg Arms

Very poor Sunday lunch. Food cold. Staff didn't seem surprised at the complaint. Been here twice since under new management. Food poor on both occasions so will not be returning

Popped in for continental breakfast and was not disappointed, very welcoming staff , thanks to ewelina and Natalie for the polite table service , top marks to chef, full English was spot on

Myself and my fiancée decided to have evening meal their is brilliant. The flatbread garlic one is tasty and lovely. The bbq planted based chicken was lovely and tasty with skinny fries. The staff was helpful and friendly in my life. The services was amazing View menu

Our family meal at this restaurant was very disappointing. The prawn cocktails lacked marie sauce and had wilted lettuce. Although the burgers were good, the steak was tough and tasteless. The desserts all had ice cream, but it was vegan and tasted terrible. The wait staff were attentive, but overall, this was the worst dining experience we have ever had.

Terrible experience from beginning to end. We left after waiting 1.5 hours and not receiving any food. We were not the only ones unhappy with the situation. Many tables were complaining about the food quality and the excessively long wait times. There were many upset children who arrived at dinner time but left hungry and tired. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Woeful. Waited an age to be seated in what was a scene of utter chaos. Chronically understaffed so endured a further wait for orders to be taken. Continental selection being depleted as quickly as the few staff were able to fill it up. One coffee machine for the entire restaurant and hotel. 2 domestic toasters that took an age to toast. Shocking. People were walking out and asking for refunds. Won't be back. View menu

after staying at premier inn we had breakfast in the morning. We had not booked because we did not realise we had to. Lovely Evelyn was so kind and managed to find a table for us all. Then we had fab Andrew who took our orders and made us feel very welcome. What super staff and would like to thank them personally. My last visit to the Glegg Arms Beefeater for breakfast about 2 years ago was a disaster but this time was amazing. Thank you.

The service at this restaurant is extremely poor. Despite having a reservation and available tables, we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. The staff ignored us as they walked by, and we were asked to wait again for a table to be prepared. When I tried to get drinks at the bar, the bartender completely ignored me even though he was only a few feet away. The food was decent, but overall, we were not impressed and will not be returning soon.

I went there for my special birthday with my family …. What a disappointment it was . Because we were a party of 10 , we were seated in the conservatory part of the pub . The room was freezing cold , I had to ask for the heating to be put on … begrudgingly it was however this didn’t warm the room until we were leaving, so we all kept our coats on throughout the appalling meal . Tough steaks … cold chips and no salad on the plate as advertised .. We waited over an hour for the food that was well below standard . On ordering we were told there wasn’t any fillet steak left , and only 3 ribeye steaks on offer . As it’s a steak house you expect there to be plenty of stock . The toilets were disgu... View menu
