"We had booked but still had to wait 10 mins in a queue to be shown to our table. We ordered straight away, as we were going to the theatre. We had to twice ask where our food was. After more than 30 mins it arrived. The carbonnara was dry and tasteless and had no chicken which we'd ordered.. They took it off the bill but the whole experience was awful. The waitrees who served us did apologise and tried to be helpful; said they were very busy. Is this what we can expect post-lockdown?"

Our calamari starter was really good. The margarita pizza was dry and overcooked. The salmon did not taste fresh and the sauce was tasteless.

Table booked for 6.00. Arrived 5.45 and queued to get in. Seated by 6.10 but were not asked for an order until 6.30. Main course arrived at 7.10. We had theatre booked for 7.30. Poor poor service.

fortunately we had booked as if a section seemed closed, there were no replacement tables. our server was charming and efficient and the meal tasty, although could have been much hotter. but a beautiful, fast pre-theater meal

My sisters meal was cold , they did not charge for it though. The desserts were frozen still and not edible. Did not even mention this just wanted to get out, very disappointing as used these restaurants before and been pleased View menu

the table reservation was for 6.30 a.m., but due to the employment and the short staff we stayed in a waiting queue outside until 7 a.m. until others were left and they could clean the tables. not ideal with 2 children. Eat was good when we were served.

Great from start to finish. Looks quite a small restaurant upstairs but it’s huge downstairs. Extensive menu and our server was happy to tweak e.g. switch salad for fries. Good children’s menu. Very busy but kitchen and waiters worked so hard rushing around to ensure a great service. Despite it being a chain the food was delicious. We booked prior to the theatre and will do again.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
