"I have visited Beni Shoga twice now and had a great experience both times. The tasting menu, priced at Β£35 per person for 9 courses, is a wonderful option for those who are unsure of what to order. The second time I went, I tried the a la carte menu and was once again impressed by the quantity and quality of the food. The kimchi and pork gyoza were standout dishes, and the coconut ice cream mochi for dessert was delicious. Although I did not try the sushi menu, I would recommend their affordable sakes for those new to sake. The cocktail menu was tasty but expensive, while the beer selection was standard for an Asian fusion restaurant. The service was excellent on both visits, though a bit slow the second time as we were seated far from the bar and kitchen. However, the complimentary lychee sake with dessert more than made up for it. It is worth mentioning that the bill came to around Β£35 per person for three courses and drinks, which I found to be good value, especially when skipping the cocktails. Overall, I highly recommend Beni Shoga for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience."

We were not impressed with the nigiri, wrong rice used (chewy) and in wrong proportions (too wide). My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the unique fusion of Japanese and Western decor. The artwork was lovely, and the menu was well-presented with a wide variety of options. We decided to try the 9-course sharing/tasting menu for Β£35 each, which was excellent. We were impressed by the surprisingly good wine list and enjoyed a pot of superb sake that was not listed on the main wine menu. Overall, we had a delightful dinner experience with friendly staff. We would definitely recommend making a detour to dine at Beni Shoga whenever we are in London. Thank you, Beni Shoga!

I live in Chelsea and my partner and I decided to have dinner at Beni Shoga. The food was fantastic, especially the hot sushi rolls (Tower Bridge Roll), rock prawn tempura, salmon tacos, wagyu beef tataki with truffle oil, and the bagel maki roll. For dessert, we had a scoop of delicious chocolate ice cream and a coconut mochi ball. The mochi ball was a bit too sweet for me, but my partner loved it! She said it was the best ice cream she had ever had. The Riesling wine was to my liking and at a great price.
