"I was a bit concerned due to the mixed reviews. We decided to go with the tasting menu, if you go that route, expect your meal time to be around 2 1/2 hrs. I read some reviews complaining about the length of the service, if you want to spend just an hour having your meal, please go to a pinxos place, it is impossible to have a 6 course meal in less than 2 hrs. Food was good, some dishes better than others. Starters were ok. Nothing extraordinary. From those the spider crab took the lead. The sardines were a nice surprised, I personally do not like sardines, but these one were mild tasting and nicely paired with caramelized red peppers. My favorite dishes from the tasting menu were the egg in emmental sauce and the torrija. For my husband’s favorites the pork and the tuna. Food could be considered bland for some, flavorful for others. For me it was just right, Service was superb! The 5 staff members working the tables were extremely friendly. Bill for 2 tasting menus, wine pairing menu for 1 1 glass of wine, espresso and a cup of tea was 150 Euros. La carta es corta pero lo que ofrecen es de gran calidad. Lo mejor el vino blanco, Aliaga Doscarlos. En general, bonita presentación, gran sabor, perfecta cantidad y buen trato (cordial y no sobreactuado). Todo un placer.

Pedimos el menú degustación. Cada plato cumplía las expectativas previstas. Entendemos que es un menú degustación, pero las raciones de cada plato podrían ser algo más generosas. Lo mejor, la sardina y la presa. El lugar es un sótano, bien decorado, no hay mucho ruido pero las mesas muy juntas. En el centro, bien ubicado. Recomiendo picar algo antes.

La cocina es de estilo tradicional, ofrece muy buena calidad en sus productos y en su presentación. Es interesante que su carta cuente con una gran rotación, permitiendo siempre elatos nuevos e innovadores. Cuenta también con menú fijo, de estilo decorativo vasco y muy buena atención al cliente. Antes de empezar con el menu nos sacaron un caldito con unas tostadas de pan que entraban muy bien en otoño con mal tiempo.
