Tim and his wife have such a lovely establishment all the food was home made and incredible. Certainly the best meal I've had in Scotland. I highly recommend!

Party of 8 visited today for breakfast. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfast rolls were excellent. Great value for money and we all enjoyed the chat!

Day trip on the PS Waverley only had a short time and the host made sure we made it back on board on time really attentive food was cooked to order and very fresh pity we didn't have more time to stay and sample more View menu

Brechin's restaurant is able to accommodate special events, usually with a focus on music, and are often well attended by Tim and his wife who manages the kitchen. A group of us older residents frequently gather there and consider the Sauls as friends.

Brilliant wee place on the Isle of Bute, great breakfast and morning rolls, have yet to try any other lunch items but everything looks great coming out of the kitchen. You are missing out if you don't visit, great friendly welcome and it's nice and warm As you can see from my pic I finished everything

Had lunch with friend. Soup and baked potato very well cooked. Very pleasant owner. Was busy and took a wee while for food to arrive but freshly prepared so no complaints. Excellent food, great service we felt very safe and well looked after. Our orders included the cheese and bacon burger, the halloumi burgers and the cheese and pickle sandwiches and everything was delicious. The menu has a fabulous variety I was torn between the sandwiches, the burgers the baked potatoes we will definitely be back so I can try my other choices! Prices are also great, especially for the generous portions. Highly recommended!

We came across this brasserie whilst in Rothesay and boy we are so glad we did. We got tea for two and fruit scones,jam and clotted cream...the tea was a large tea pot and the scones were home made and I can honestly say they were the best scones we have ever tasted. Tim was so friendly and we had a good chat with him. Two elderly ladies came in and we recommended the scones to them and they were delighted with them too. Inside was spotless and music sheets on the wall were very interesting. Very reasonable priced too. If we come to Rothesay we will definitely visit here again. After getting off the ferry, we decided to stop for coffee and ended up at this charming cafe. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and felt comfortable in the cozy atmosphere. The walls were adorned with vintage sheet music posters, adding to the ambiance. I ordered a latte, my partner got a white coffee, and my son tried a refreshing orange mixed drink that he loved. I opted for the lentil soup, which was fresh and delicious. My partner enjoyed a bacon roll, which he raved about. The chocolate fudge brownie my son devoured was homemade and served with homemade vanilla ice cream. He couldn't get enough, saying it was the best ice cream brownie he'd ever had.
