"If you have never visited a Buffalo Grill restaurant, then you need to rectify that ASAP.The theme is American western style, which is reflected in the decor and the food choice. Seating is in booths unless you have a larger party for which there are larger circular tables. All orders for drinks and food are taken by the staff and brought to your table - there is no bar as such.Steaks and burgers are very much in evidence, in many different forms, as well as ribs and chilli con carne. There is not as much choice for vegetarians. When you are first seated, a small side salad is presented to nibble on while you make your main choice. In other Buffalo Grills, we have had corn chips or salted popcorn, so there may be alternatives.Look for the "MENU" choices, which as elsewhere in France, offers a fixed choice at a reduced price... usually a drink/starter/main course, or drink/main/dessert. These are usually shown on the place mat on you table.Remember that the French generally like their meat rare, so if you order medium, it may well be more rare than medium.Bien Cuit - or well done may be less well done than you expected too.In Ploermel they have English speaking staff, and menus printed in English if you are not used to ordering in French - but you might still have to resort to some pointing at some items due to differences in pronunciations. We have always found the food to our liking, and never been rushed, even when it is busy... and on Sunday evenings, we have found them to be very busy! The dessert selection is extensive, and like the main menu, subject to seasonal changes... these can be found on the Buffalo Grill website, and while you are in the restaurant, you will likely be invited to sign up for their email newsletter.Look out for the "Diligence de Desserts" which is a selection of smaller portions of several of the desserts. The choice varies from time to time, and has been available as a choice for one or two persons. It is great if you cannot decide on what to have!If you have young children with you, they may struggle with the children's puzzles, some of which involve finding French words made up from letters in the answers to other puzzles. if in doubt, it would pay to take your own."

American cuisine in France, makes a change! Also much more flexible hours than the rigid French restaurants.

We always visit here when in Ploermel. The food is good, especially the Entrecote Classic and no one does green beans like Buffalo Grill. Friendly staff, great food, what more do you want?

Dropped in here a few times now and mixed reviews. Service, even when not busy can be slow and the food cold. Had to send four dishes back one busy evening. Saying that, when it does come hot, the quality of the meat is very good. Not a favourite.

Had reservations about going here as its not typical of French cuisine, however the whole family enjoyed it.Our order of burgers and steak hache were all really well cooked and the kids really liked the candyfloss (barbe a papa) dessert.Really good friendly service too.

Food very poor quality and not very hot. Fish and chips a joke hard battered fish fingers. Mixed grill what was it? Had to ask for tartare sauce and only about 8 people in when we arrived service very slow. Last time we went was around 20years ago in Calais be another 20 for the next visit.

Food is of good quality, cooked and presented well. Great menu, love the choice options particularly meal offers.Praise for the staff - always and without exception, attentive, professional, friendly and there to make your visit pleasurable. They are most accommodating. The menu translations are very helpful. Pricing is very reasonable. We have visited here often and it never fails to satisfy us in terms of what we eat, the service we receive and the experience overall.

We always eat here and my 3* is for the main courses of my two friends dishes. Our starters were lovely, we had onion rings, nachos and quesadillas, for my main I had entrecote, jacket potato and pepper sauce, it was delicious, but my friends had steaks but they were so tough they were inedible! Fries were nice though and the macaroni cheese. The desserts were lovely as usual ice cream sundaes and cheesecake. The service is always good and very friendly so this was the first disappointment of lots of visits. We would still return.

If you like McDonalds, you will like this place. A slightly more upmarket version, but not much for non meat eaters.Bit of a family tradition to come here whilst on holiday. Meat eaters enjoyed the ribs, daughters chicken nuggets were nothing special but a bit dry, and my veggie option of "veggie burger" was two large round soggy hash browns, with both soft cheese and goats cheese between them. With chips. Yuk. A plateful of potato and cheese was pretty gross, and certainly not the burger I was expecting, especially something without a bun! Would not waste my money here again... Left feeling sick and bloated, couldnt possibly eat it all. Bleugh.

We recently revisited the Buffalo Grill with friends who had never visited one before. There is a monthly change to the menu, with several new items throughout the year, and this keeps the menus fresh to previous customers. As usual you are presented with a salad with a strong dressing while you peruse the menu, and a dish of popcorn.Once you have ordered, a basket of warm bread rolls is also supplied. The drinks menu is extensive, but sometimes, drinks are included in the packaged menus - worth checking before you order them separately.Four of us shared 2 Tapas selection for two persons, which was probably more than enough, if you intend to have three courses! For my main course I tried one of...
