I often have lunch at the Buffet della Stazione since it's near my job place. The pizza is good and so the rest of the proposed dishes. A good option for a lunch break or to have a bite while you wait your train. View menu

definitiw a good place to eat in lugano station. they serve the usual Italian dishes such as pizza and pasta. we ordered the filet de perch (fish from the sea) and it was excellent. the grinned vegetables were also delicious.

This week I went to this restaurant for an Indian dinner, something available each year and to which I look forward. We ordered Bindaloo and Shami kabab. The prices have nor varied for several years.The meal was excellent. The service by the waiter (Stefano) was very appreciated.

Service was fast and ok. I ordered a quite simple pizza, and the lower part was mostly burnt. Being cancerigen, I throwed away more than half of the pizza. When highlighted the problem to the staff, no reaction back: no partial refund, no compensation, no free shot, simply nothing. Resuming, bad cuisine (at least bad pizza) and no customer oriented place. Definitely not recommented: better to eat in the train. View menu

Don't be put off by it being a station buffet! This is a very good restaurant, with linen tablecloths and efficient but not intrusive service. The staff are very pleasant and speak reasonably good English. The food is tasty and comes quickly. I had a...rosti dish and my wife had chicken. Both were well presented and very tasty. This restaurant appears to be frequented by local people, which is always a good sign. It is also one of the few places in Lugano where you can eat something other than Italian food.
