"We dine regularly at this restaurant and thoroughly recommend it. On this occasion the two dishes of beef our party ordered were uncharacteristically tough and chewy to eat. After we told our waitress this at the end of the meal she arranged for the manager to speak to us. (we could not get hold of her before this as it was very busy due to the Christmas period) The manager was apologetic, polite and arranged for the beef not to be charged on the bill. This was good customer service from a restaurant that I would usually give each dish 5/5 stars."

Great place to eat before the theatre, but wouldn't recommend if you want a leisurely meal to catch up with friends,it's a bit too noisy it's shared tables.

Initial impressions were good. Two of three main courses arrived. Had to remind about the third twice and it arrived just before we had to leave for the theatre. The late dish was poor and wasn’t worth eating.

Tables are positioned so badly that you can’t get in and out and servers often can’t get to you. Took ages for drinks to arrive. Coffee took so long it had gone cold. Great food but poor layout and overcrowding let it down.

Great place with nice staff and outstanding food. I had to wait extra 10 mins for my main course when all else had arrived but servants were close to on point about it and did what they could. Over all very happy and will come again. Thanks.

The food was Ok but I think our mistake was going for the pre theatre menu because it tasted like it had been cooked a while ago and kept warm. I would advise going for the main menu as then it would be cooked fresh. The staff were friendly and efficient and it is a nice atmosphere. It is also good value

The Service was just very slow, even though there were very few people there most of the time we were there (it started to become busy shortly before we left but that should have had no impact on us). It was difficult to understand why. No one came to or even near our table and it was very difficult to order drinks and then food. Unfortunately that rather ruined the experience as we spent a lot of time wanting to sort that out and not being able to do so.
