"This is a good place for a decent well priced coffee or tea and a decent breakfast bap or scrambled eggs on toast. We visited on a Friday and lots of people that visit the market were enjoying drinks and food both eat in...and takeaway. The coffee was freshly made of good quality and great price. The tea was nice and strong. We had a breakfast bap and it was fine. The filling was great but the roll was a type of Italian bread that was not ideal for me. The scrambled eggs were freshly made and all served on hot toast. The toilets were clean and adequate. The staff were very friendly and overall we we will definitely use again. Not for people that want something a little posher and are prepared to pay more for that in my opinion."

Popped in for something to eat as Morrisons down the road had kitchen probs. Can't complain really, breakfast bap (sausage, bacon and egg in a bread roll) for All other food is similarly priced, and all very reasonable. Friendly staff and delicious food, yum!

I visited Café Culture to grab a quick bite to eat, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and how great the drinks tasted. I left feeling very satisfied and will definitely be returning in the future. I tried a milkshake and a speckrolle, and the prices for the food were very reasonable.

I visited this restaurant for a light lunch and had a delicious burger and chips. The milkshake was also very well made and tasty. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal or a drink. The staff were friendly and chatty, and the cafe was clean. This old school cafe felt like home and had reasonable prices.

Had my first and last visit to this so called cafe.coffee and breakfast bun was ok but once we sat down and looked at the decor it was shocking. The dust was really visable all over the place even on the fire extinguisher hanging near...the front door and as for the toilet omg I just walked straight out. My advice to the owners shut down and deep clean for hours.very poor hygiene all round!!!!

Called in over the weekend to try one of the extensive flavours of ice cream. I chose toffee apple but apparently I didn't need to spend so long choosing as it tasted of nothing but ice. It didn't even taste creamy like ice cream and...certainly not of vanilla. Tired of the ice crystals I left the bottom layer in the tub. The staff were friendly but I have never tasted ice cream quite as bad as this before.

we have received two doses of coke and two strawberry milk shakes here to this day, and he first accused me of ordering the order. as always the shakes tasted like melted ice cream with the lack of earthberry, went back to tell him and he started to tell me that there is nothing wrong with them, I told him that I didn't want to say how it didn't taste nice, but he continued to tell me that he would do another, and it was for me that if I wanted to avoid it!

"So disappointingBefore coming to the swan I had looked at the menu online, as my youngest child has allergies and is dairy free. It states on the menu that ‘light bites’ are GF and most can be adapted to be DF, brilliant! It was our last day of our holiday and I thought I’d treat them to a nice lunch out before heading home. Where do I start, the service attitude from the lady behind the bar was shocking. I asked what could be made DF for my son and was told that there wasn’t anything and they don’t cater for allergies?! I pointed out on the menu that they state they can and was met with an eye roll basically. Anyway, I thought I would get him some chips, nope, they fry them in the same oil as the dairy and meat products we are vegetarian ! I then asked about the VEGAN dishes they had and I was told they are also cooked and prepared for alongside the meat products so they can’t guarantee they will actually be vegan!! By this point my daughters had already got excited about eating out and the play area that I couldn’t really back track, so I went against my better judgement and ordered 3 sandwiches on granary bread and a childrens fish chips. My son had a packet of crisps. The sandwiches arrived and were absolutely awful, the cheese and onion one was 2 slices of cheap shop bought bread with some pre grated cheese and a couple of slices of onion not even any butter! It wasn’t cheap, £45 for 4 soft drinks, 3 sandwiches and a child meal. Then there’s the play area, sharp screws poking up through the wood chip, lose sharp fixings on top of the slide, and a massive electric open cable under the swings! We swiftly left, it was such a bad end to our holiday and should have been our final hurrah before driving home. Was appalled at their attitude towards me, was treated like an inconvenience, food was awful, please don’t eat there if you are Vegan, although the dish is vegan ? they certainly don’t take the steps necessary to keep it away from meat, and definitely not safe for anyone with an allergy. Such a shame as the location is so pretty with the river opposite, we were excited and left feeling really disappointed. Will not be back."
