can not stay away from cafe du jardin. my place to go in lewes for big coffee, delicious bakers and eating and wonderful ambiente. oh, and beautiful staff

Only had soup and a cuppa but it was a great place. Bit of a hidden gem not sure I should even be telling you about it! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Lewes.

Lovely sunday lunch, 3 meat choices. reasonably priced. Interesting menu with the usual choices. Courtyard or indoor room (downstairs that may be difficult for those with mobility issues .Staff friendly.

cafe du jardin is a beautiful little place on the foot of the lewes have a wonderful garden that protects much sun throughout the day from the wind, the staff are absolutely wonderful and very friendly! would very understand for a beautiful coffee and cake or lunch.

it took a while to visit here, but I'm glad we did. it is a beautiful sunny courtyard with a good selection of food and drinks. the workers were busy, but friendly, the menu has a lot of choice for vegetarian and the food was delicious and well prepared. that will be a place where we come back.

cafe du jardin hosted our youngest soiree. lucinka and her team were amazing. the food was absolutely delicious and the wine superb! it was really the highlight of our day and the ambiente of caffe was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone who wants to use it for a private party or just fall past for afternoon tea or a quiet glass wine. karen simpson

I had a really relaxed but fun time Friday night, excellent wine list! I'll make sure I order the Camembert again too next time. My little slice of France in Lewes, perfect really. Oh and my family organised a surprise party for me there in March, it was the best birthday I've ever had, danced Salsa and Charleston, with the gorgeous courtyard to catch our breath and cool down. Food was beautiful and felt like a Princess. Looking forward to some summer evenings here!
