"My family and I were at New Delhi Indian Restaurant today 20 Aug 2023 evening, as we entered in and asked the person (the owner) to have us seated, we immediately realized the guy was not only unfriendly, but ill mannered too. It became clear to us as he came by later to take our orders, he was disrespectful. 5 minutes later after we placed our order, we approached the same guy (as he is the only person there to take orders and serve) with a simple question and the guy responded with rage (we were shocked) and highly inconsiderate, behaving absolute in an uncivilized manner. He was terribly rude, no customer would like to be treated in that way. You will never ever meet such an arrogant person in a business treating you in this manner ever, I guarantee that. There just cannot be a positive review about New Delhi Indian Restaurant, Lausanne, Switzerland. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It would be an absolute waste of your time and money, all you will encounter is a guy with a bad temperament that’s very hard to counter and you will be in no mood to eat after that experience. So just avoid this restaurant at any cost, it is not worth it."

I ordered food through delivery in the evening at 7, and I am wiring this worst review of my life at 8:30pm. THE FOOD IS SPOILED. If you don’t want to serve fresh food, close up your restaurant or fire the chef.

Very very good and authentic cuisine. Normal restaurant price, service also nothing special to say. The decor of the restaurant is not great and you might think it's a PMU but the restaurant remains very good, I will go back there, I recommend. View menu

Excellent restaurant. The staff is polite and smiling, very friendly. The waiter served us and advised us, both on the wines and the dishes, like a sommelier in a great restaurant. I have read many negative comments about the servers but that's not what I saw at all, I think the staff must have changed. The dishes are excellent and very generous, we left with dogy bags with leftovers for the evening meal. Very fair prices for a large quantity of quality. I had the “Dal Palak” dish whose spices blended beautifully with the lentils and spinach. I recommend 100%.

Location: around 150m from Lausane station and with bus stop right in the front. Food: they have various type of protein and vegeterian as well. The food was amazing to us. The portion is ok, rice and bread is not included in some dishes. Service: the waiter was super nice and helpful, he was fast, efficient and nice enough to warn us about some dishes which maybe too spicy or strange to us. Price: a bit high but with the service and location would he ok. We have reservation via The Fork so we have 50% off on main dishes but we need to call drinks from the menu.
