"I came here on a midweek evening with a friend. It wasn't particularly busy tables max were occupied.Food I had the special a meat and pasta dish which was unfortunately swimming in its own grease, but it was passable.A latemiddle aged man was serving, who was helpful and friendly, but was obviously rushed off his feet he may even have been doing the cooking and serving at the same time. A latemiddle aged woman, who turned out to be the owner, was sat outside with her dog and a friend. Towards the end of our meal, she moved inside. She later turned her hand to waitressing, but this was evidently not her forte.When we'd finished, our polite request to split the bill seemed to create a massive drama for her, I'VE PUT IT THE SUM INTO THE CARD MACHINE NOW, she snapped. After her meltdown, she handed the job to her presumably employee, to whom she spoke like he was a dog. I really felt for him.She proceeded to slag us off to her friend, even though we were sat only about metres away from them, in the same quiet room. Either she is a bitter individual, or was just having a bad day and took it out on us. Regardless, she had a mare and I would not recommend the place.No problem with the nodoubt longsuffering guy though"

Wondered if we’d made a bad choice when we approached as it’s a small place and it’s hard to work out what type of restaurantcafe this is. However, we had a really lovely dinner. We were looked after and pleased we ate there

Quite small estimate covers traditional Italian restaurant.Small menu as food is homemade and chef patron will come to table to discuss any food allergies.It's in an old building and v quaint and hickeldy picked and upstairs room is like your living room.Food was delicious all homemade and great wine list V good value for money. Really enjoyed our meal

We were hungry so we turned up an hour early, no problems, we were fitted in, indeed the restaurant was surprisingly empty, but the service was great, the food really good, hot, tasty, the wine was excellent and all represented really good value for money.We were very pleased with this restaurant, just a minute from where the busy restaurants are in a Sheep Street, Olde Worlde building too

Book late on a Saturday for the same night and the host was very welcoming. Seated upstairs on a window table and watched the world go by. The restaurant was quiet but it was early evening and although its quite small we did not feel overcrowded. The food was cooked well and we enjoyed our choices along with the wine selection. Overall a pleasant experience and would go back but there are lots to chose from in this area

We went for a pretheatre meal. What a lovely little place. Just tables for downstairs, but I think there is also a large upstairs room.The food was freshly cooked, authentic rustic Italian. We had a lovely sharing board to start that included delicious chicken livers on toast. Pizzas were perfect, and my husband said that his tiramisu was the best he had tasted outside Italy.Massimo the owner was a delight. We will definitely be back again soon
