"This has been my favorite restaurant in Italy so far. The outdoor patio is nice on a sunny day and offers an amazing ocean view. The journey to get here was a long drive and it's mostly on a narrow road. You have to watch out for oncoming traffic, vespas and pedestrians which makes the drive even more anxiety provoking. Once you get here you'll enjoy fresh authentic cuisine in a beautiful setting. The view alone is worth the visit. We ordered 4 dishes to share among us and they were all fantastic. The pan fried fish in a potato crust was one of our favorites. The gnocchi was tasty as well. You can't go wrong with the fresh local ingredients they incorporate into their cuisine. If you're willing to trek to Positano then mark this as a pit stop. By the way there is a 2,50€ surcharge per guest and one bottle of still water for the table was about 4€. Our bill totaled 89€ which is what we were expecting to pay for a semi-fancy restaurant."

We had the best pasta here. I don't remember what the pasta was called but it haunts my dreams. Beautiful views and restaurant.

The view itself is worth 5 stars. Unfortunately, we were served a 'tour ' lunch which meant not choosing from the menu. The lunch was okay but I 'm sure the menu items were far better. It was handmade pasta with tomato sauce. Plain, but good. I would have loved to try the food on the menu because what I saw other people eating it looked INCREDIBLE!!!

The waiting staff was ignorant. We had reservations and staff not flexible to get 8 seats together. All foods came together, just before us with no room at the table, hard when main course comes before salads. Food was really good, but service ruined the dinner. The restaurant was mostly empty, making sense why. Parking: One of the few restaurants in the area with parking. View menu

We came through as a tour group--a busload of people and we were well accommodated! The view is beautiful...a true Amalfi Coast experience. The attached store was cute. There were some food items, along with ceramics available for purchase. The pasta was yummy. The lemony cake was super good. I would love to return, not as a part of a tourist group, but as a regular customer.

Everything from the aged balsamic to the views of the ocean here were simply a m a z i n g. We stopped here on the drive from our place in Positano to Amalfi for the day, and we could not have made a better choice on such a beautiful day. The food was tasty, service was a little slow, but we didn't care one bit. We had some delicious lobster pasta, wine, and a lot of great memories made. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

during a tour through the amalfi coast to lunch. the restaurant has some great prospects, but unfortunately our group was sat in an interior together with other groups of tours, although the seats outside usually sit empty, where we were served an salat, which consists of plain salat with a lonely half cherry tomato tomatoes, there is hardly any dressing and a pasta with a simple tomato sauce without parmesan or something. My husband I ate here on our way back from Amalfi. I picked this place based reviews and price tags. I will say that you are paying for the view. I did not realize that it is a hotel, so when you sit to eat they charge you a cover charge for not being a guest. It 's added to your bill. We had the Caprese Salad, which was delicious. Two cokes, a coffee two of the lemon pastas. Our bill was £65. The pasta is homemade which was good.. It 's a good spot for the view. Not the best food I 've had in Italy, but good.

Food was very good. View is amazing. Service is very lacking. Came here for lunch one afternoon and it was a good experience. We sat on the terrace and had a nice view with our lunch. We got the complimentary bread with several choices of olive oil of the region which was nice. Then we got salad with mozzarella cheese and the cheese was very soft and tasty. After the salad we got pasta dish with local tomatoes and cheese again. The service however was nonexistent, water is self serve. Overall decent experience.

"This is a very small restaurant located quite far away from the main harbour. Staff were friendly and food was okay, but definitely overpriced. My partner and I were very keen to visit this restaurant after reading some amazing reviews, however, we were disappointed when we arrived. The restaurant’s website claims it to be the most romantic restaurant in Italy and 6th most romantic in the world, however this is a bit of a stretch. The restaurant is very small, accommodating only around 6 tables in total, 5 of which had a sea view. Since we visited for dinner, we couldn’t appreciate the views very much as it was dark outside, but I imagine it to be lovely during the day. The food was pretty good, my partner ordered the lasagne and I had the shrimps (I thought I was ordering prawns as stated on the menu, but I was presented with shrimps). The lasagne was very good, but I was far from delighted with my seafood as it wasn’t as was described on the menu and was simply overpriced. Albeit, I thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, and ended up getting another! The website asks for a €40pp deposit when making a reservation, which can be reached rather comfortably, however this restaurant is not ‘high end’ enough to demand such high deposits. There are plenty of other restaurants in Amalfi serving cheaper food, in more convenient locations with no deposit requirement. Overall, I didn’t have a terrible experience, but it did not live up to the standards I was expecting after reading so many raving reviews about it. It essentially felt like I was sat in someone’s living room that had been rearranged to look like a restaurant with average food and cheap table/chairs etc, making this experience far from ‘the most romantic dinner’."
