"First time at Britalia and it was excellent. Lovely atmosphere and smell of yummy food as soon as you enter. The waiting staff were very friendly, chatty and had a great sense of humour which makes a change from Dolly Robotic Daydreams in some places !! Their service was first class, with delicious hot food, great drinks and all washed down with coffee and a complementary shot !! The owner/head chef also interacts with customers which is refreshing to see. Excellent value for money also. A great meal and we shall return."

"Visited here last Friday as a group of seven and on arrival was made welcome by the waitress who showed us to our table. We all had different dishes and they were very nice, decent portions and all came out together. I must say that my main of the brisket was a bad choice on my part as I prefer the meat to be shredded (It did state it wasn’t shredded on the menu)but I tried it and it was tasty but not tender enough. The rest of our party enjoyed theirs especially the steak dish. Must say we had a long wait between the starters and mains, nearly a hour but the manager bought us a round of drinks as an apology because the place was really busy. Good job we hadn’t planned to go elsewhere after. The staff were friendly and polite and the place had a good atmosphere and decent choice of drinks. We all said we would return but I would opt for a different main meal."

"We have passed by this restaurant countless times and can't believe we never noticed it before. Since we love Indian food, we decided to give it a try. And boy, are we glad we did! The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, and having a DJ added a special touch compared to the typical Indian restaurant background music. Despite how busy it was, the service was excellent. The menu had an impressive variety of dishes, and we are already planning our return visits to try them all. In addition to the usual dishes like bhuna, there were many other options to choose from. All the staff members were delightful, but the owner/manager, who was stunning in a beautiful sari, even came over to chat with us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The mango kulfi we had for dessert was incredibly smooth and creamy - we couldn't find a single fault with our experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit!"

"Came here with a small group of people after hearing great things, however we were left disappointed and hungry. A few of us ordered spaghetti carbonara and the pasta was undercooked and watery. There was hardly any sauce, and the sauce that was there was a very runny consistency which gathered at the bottom of the bowl. My friend had two mouthfuls before she decided it was inedible. We were not impressed for nearly £15 a meal. The drinks were nice and they had a good selection, although very pricey. Service was slow however our host was very pleasant and helpful. The venue was stifling hot with little to no ventilation, apart from the fire exit door which was continuously being slammed by passers by which was very off putting when trying to eat our meal or have a conversation. Disappointed as we had high hopes."

"Wow wow wow. What an absolutely cracking little find in Mansfield. Was on a visit to Manfield to watch a football match yesterday on a Tuesday evening and this pub was recommended. Busy little pub with a cracking atmosphere as fans from both sides mingled together, the beer was cheap in comparison to many many pubs and the food was absolutely superb. Good old fashioned home cooked tasty food and the service came with a warm friendly smile from the amazing owner and staff who despite being run off their feet always had time for a laugh and a joke. 2 and a half hours away from where we live but my self and party have said we would happily travel to visit again on a non match game. With the blend of great fans sharing stories, great staff and superb food, one happy place to spend time. Please please please never change. We will be back"
