Experiencia única, nos hemos sentido como si nos invitaran unos amigos a comer en su casa. Gracias a la amabilidad del Sr. Juan y a la cocina de su hijo Javier se crea una atmósfera especial.

Era la primera vez que íbamos y nos ha sorprendido muy gratamente. La comida muy buena , el servicio y la atención excelente. Te hacen sentir como en casa. Juan y Javier , enhorabuena y muchas gracias . Hay que volver !!! Sin lugar a dudas .

Probably one of the best rice dishes I've ever had. Family place with a lot of human treatment and a kitchen with a lot of flavor. And you can go with your little dog. We will be back! What a gem! Traditional, authentic and truly wonderful experience! We ate there 3 times in a 7 nights holiday stay in a nearby town. The fish was superb as was the paella. We were welcomed with true warmth, our young son on crutches was looked after well! Best dish without a doubt fried chiperones ... mmmmm! Eat here if you want true Spanish food and hospitality, the best on this coastline. Will be back without a doubt!

De camino al Cabo de Gata dijimos de parar a comer en Garrucha, una comida de esas de tránsito, y mirando las opiniones pues dijimos... aquí. Quién nos iba a decir que nuestros días de relax y playa iban a comenzar con este homenaje gastronómico y tener el gusto de ser atendidos de tan grata manera. Lo único malo es que ahora todos los arroces los tengo que comparar con la maravilla de ese arroz al horno que nos comimos y creo que tardaremos en probar un arroz como este.

We had seen this restaurant the night before and the terrace looked lovely. We didn’t book, but were early for Spain (20:45) so there was room. The chef is really helpful he recommended the seafood and that was what we had. A really nice mix of fresh fish, fried. We had homemade cod croquetas to start, really good flavour, and bread and allioli. We had sherry to start and a bottle of vino rosado. It’s not posh, it’s a family run restaurant with history, and nice for it m The chef gave us a recipe booklet to take away I’m looking forward to trying them out.
