"We spent a total of seven days in Meloneras and had dinner twice at Casa Serafin. With the abundance of restaurants available the fact that we came back for a second visit indicates that we enjoyed Casa Serafin. The food is good. Similar food is also available elsewhere, but the friendly service, nice setting and reasonable pricing was a good reason to return ... as well as the small deep-fried octopus (puntitas) which we had as a starter both times. So if you want a nice place which is somewhat calmer than the restaurants closer towards the Faro it is a nice walk to this area and if you want to enjoy the sunset why not have drink at the Panorama bar at the same location before a good dinner at casa Serafin."

Great little restaurant on n Meloneras beach. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. We had both the fillet steak and the entrecôte and both were delicious, although the entrecôte had the most flavour and was perfectly done. Set on the quiet beach front, it is was a welcome retreat from the bustling hubbub of the main Faro boulevard. View menu

Not many customers the first evening but do not be put off. Extremely friendly staff and very nice food. We ordered the paella which took up to 40 minutes to prepare but its prepared from scratch so you know its fresh. We visited twice and I can also recommend the steak cooked exactly how I asked. Competitively priced and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend.

large terrace, fully outdoor with direct sea views and tables that keep a distance quite close. perfect place at the moment we live. the food is very good, you can eat the typical “Serafín” seafood paella, which served in the only chiringuito that existed on the beach when there was nothing else in the area. fresh fish and area, sama, a “old” to the skillet, turns, fried octopus. You can have a drink while you wait for the spectacular sunset on the beach. and you can park without problems. . . .

"During our winter stay on the island of Gran Canaria we stayed four times in the bar restaurant Casa Antonio, located in Santa Lucia de Tirajana. In the village there are three other restaurants but, we always opted for Casa Antonio because it is the safest as unlike the others it has a good level of hygiene. The structure of the restaurant is characteristic as it is obtained from an old Canarian house. The interiors are decorated in a traditional but elegant way, the bathrooms are quite large and above all clean. It has a small terrace that unfortunately is not very enjoyable because it faces directly on the road and cars pass too close at high speed. The menu is rather trivial, you eat the same things you can eat in any other traditional restaurant on the island. The quality of the elements is certainly not excellent, the wine list is a bit poor with not exactly cheap prices. The Service, considering that all four times we have been to Casa Antonio the restaurant was half empty, was entrusted to a boy of about 40 years, kind but not overly nice and uncommunicative, his presence does not contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere. In my opinion, given that the place is almost always empty and tendentially sad, it would be appropriate for the service to be entrusted to a more cheerful, dynamic, engaging person, probably a female figure would be more appropriate. Practically once the meal has been eaten, all that remains is to remain seated at the table in silence. It 's a real pity because the place is suitable for continuing the evening by drinking some spirits, for example, listening to good music and perhaps socializing with the other customers who are missing in this case. I rate the experience in Casa Antonio with two stars because, despite being the best restaurant in the town of Santa Lucia, it offers an extremely boring atmosphere."
