"Recommended by a friend of mine who told me that most of Indonesian people eat there for their best "nasi goreng ikan asin", I found this resto and went there just alone. From the metro station Porte Maillot, you should walk a bit far- in my opinion- but maybe it was just my feeling because I was so hungry and freezing at that time :-)finally thank God, i paid the price with the great satisfaction i got. The staff knew well what I wanted to order because of my face maybe. The nasi goreng looks darker but do not worry it tastes sooo gooooood and you smell alreadythe salted fish inside. Perfect match! And the chopping red chillies for Indonesian people is a MUST Do not try this at home- try it there! :-)"

Good price, lots choose on the menus. Soup noodle is nice fresh. Had twice, seafood noodles is much better than beef noodles.

Ate there lunch twice. You choose the food from the vitrine and it is served to the table. The food was very nice and cheap for Paris.

Simple and unpretentious Asian spot. Super tasty specialities typical of South East Asia. Loklak beed, Pho soup, bobun, lemon grass sausage. Everything is delicious, very affordable and fresh. Ideal for a quick lunch with friends, family, collegues.

Friendly staff, amazing wide-range of South East Asian food from Singapore, Malaysia. Indonesia, Thai and Vietnam. We ordered a little bit of each and every single one of them was cook to perfection. We love the fried rice, Singaporean rice noodle most.

There's a big enough menu of Asian fare - Thai, Vietnamese, Singapore/Malaysian cooking too. What I like most is their home cooked fare like stir fry greens, bean sprouts with salted fish, beef slices with ginger strips. With steaming white rice. All that is a real treat especially when you are away from home for a bit.

Few can understand my frequent visits to chez Chung instead of exploring french restaurants. But chez Chung keeps me from being cranky during my longish work trips to Paris. The food served here is unpretentious, simple and hearty, like it's straight out of your family kitchen e.g. Stir fried Chye sim, egg fu Yong, ma po doufu, ginger stir fried beef, bean sprouts with salted fish. And the owners of chez Chung treat you like an old friend. Chez Chung does everything from Mee Pok dry, seafood hor fun, salted fish fried rice to nice "home-feel" dishes like bean sprouts with salted fish, fried beef with ginger etc. Frequented by SIA crew and Asians who live/work in Paris - Chez Chung is the perfect place to be whenever you yearn for the taste of home. But it isn't cheap by any standard, a meal for 2 along with wine came up to €57. Still, nothing beats Chez Chung especially when you are in Paris for a long work stint.

From the outside looks like a buffet place, which it sort of was but they also cooked from a menu if you wished.I had some shrimp dumplings (bit hard and scorching hot - over pinged in the microwave) and veg/prawn ravioli (gyoza?) had good flavour but again so hot from the microwave and really hard yet moist. Bo Bun ? for main wasn't as I was expecting (i.e. a soup) but was really tasty beef dish with rice noodles, bean sprouts.I asked for some fresh chilli which was added with the nuts and mint. I would eat there again but would probably like to checkout a few more in the area. Service was ok. Nice tasty reasonably priced food. a beer, jasmine tea and the above food under €18.
