"El Chiringuito de Juan was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, we noticed that the place was not well maintained. The decor was dated and shabby, which did not create a pleasant feeling. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waiters seemed uninterested and unwilling to help. Also, we had to wait a long time to be served, even though the place was not full. The food was another big problem. The dishes we ordered were poorly cooked and lacked flavor. The presentation also left a lot to be desired, making the dining experience even more disappointing. Furthermore, the prices were excessive for the quality of the food and the service received. We didn't feel like we were getting value for our money. In short, I would not recommend Chiringuito de Juan. Lack of attention to detail, poor service and low quality food made our visit very unpleasant. There are many other options on the beach that offer a much better experience. El Sajorami offers quality and service far above this joint. Price per person: €90–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

The first thing I want to say is that Josan served us at the table, a young waiter but very professional and super good people. I will return apart from the atmosphere, because the food is good, but above all because of Josan's good service. Thanks kid. Beach bar with a wonderful location with sea views. Super friendly and attentive employees, fast service and an unbeatable atmosphere. Without a doubt a success. The grilled squid and the Iberian secret a delight. It also has a terrace on the top where you can have a drink and watch the sunset with live music. Good food, excellent service, but very expensive (small quantities). I do not recommend for dinner, only for snacks. For lunch or dinner you have to order 5/6 different dishes for a couple (be careful: we don't eat much). Very uncomfortable seats, tables and benches fixed on the floor, without the possibility of moving and adjusting distance. Live music: the girls' band notes 1000! The food is good, to say the least, but it seemed a bit chaos when it came to ordering and also receiving the food where we had to change one of the portions halfway through the meal because it ran out and another of them they didn't even get to take out. because they forgot. One thing we really liked is the afternoon, there are live performances and it has a top terrace to watch the sunset afterwards and have a good drink. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Idyllic place on the beach, with live music throughout the summer and performances usually at sunset. Local raw materials, generous portions and reasonable prices for the area where it is located. Adrian and Jesus, as always, very good hosts! As an improvement: Add homemade desserts that are missing, the lemon sorbet with vodka is great but with a piece of homemade cake it would be even better!! Parking: Private parking very close to the premises, and they usually have an agreement with the premises so that it is free or they subtract the amount from the account. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hamburguesa de Re...

El Chiringuito de Juan continues to be, despite its successive expansions, essentially the same thing that I found 27 years ago: good people, honest people and eager to please their customers above all by offering good food and good service even when they are full. of people I have returned after almost 10 years and in three days I have eaten there two. Letting myself be advised by Juan, we ordered the stew of the day (chickpeas with Iberian secret) and it was hot... a success, in that deep dish there was a lot of hand in the kitchen. The tuna tarantello, a well-executed classic with a very good eggplant garnish. It should be noted that it is a place where pets are welcome, as is obvious if...

"Last night we had the wonderful experience of dining at the restaurant El Timón located on the seafront of Barbate. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The dinner we enjoyed was simply outstanding. We started with an ensaladilla rusa that was surprisingly creamy and delicious. And with a toast with tuna cubes that was spectacular. We continue with some homemade croquettes. The options were Iberian ham with mint aioli and half of garlic prawns. We were able to order them mixed, which we appreciate because that way we could try both. And both one and the other, they earned the title of the best croquettes I 've ever tasted. The prawn ones were spectacular, with a taste that made your mouth water, and each bite was an explosion of prawn pil pil flavour. We continued the evening with an Iberian ham plumilla that perfectly complemented the dinner. And to top it off, the desserts, a Kinder cake and a Lotus mousse, were real pleasures for the palate. Both were delicious and left a sweet memory in our dinner. Overall, El Timón is a place that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Barbate. The quality of the food is exceptional and the ambiance along the boardwalk adds a special touch to the experience. The only small disappointment was that, unlike other tables, we were not offered the dishes that were off the menu. And we found out at the end of dinner because a table that sat next to us was told. Still, despite this, it was a wonderful dining experience. or we were offered non-carte dishes when we were almost finishing dinner. Don 't hesitate to try this place if you get the chance, you won 't regret it!"
