"Admittedly it was very busy, even though a Monday night, as a week before Christmas but really the noise level was terrible and it was hard to have a conversation so any night it 's full would be the same. They 've made the restaurant so huge it really feels like pack 'em in and take the money! It 's impossible to get decent service with so many tables to be served. The food was luke warm and we didn 't get the sauce we asked for on the steak we asked for black pepper God knows what they gave us, unidentifiable. The spinach was tepid and slathered in raw garlic which we certainly didn 't ask for. I know these chains rely on the same menus being churned out endlessly and you get what you pay for I suppose but making the restaurants so huge means everything goes downhill in terms of food quality and service. The tables were left uncleared for ages and by the time we left it looked like a bomb had hit the place! The young waiting team were nice guys but there weren 't enough of them so it felt like they never got on top of things. If you don 't mind the canteen environment then this place is for you! Personally, I felt like we were just cash cows for the conglomerate who own the chain to laugh all the way to the bank!"

We were a large group and so had pre-ordered the food to make things easier. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and were attentive throughout and the food was good, as usual at a Côte.

Had a wonderful experience with really attentive and quick service here. Food was absolutely fantastic and looking forward to visiting again. Big thanks to our server who I believed was called Jose?

I have been to this restaurant for many years with no issues. Today, 21 Sept 2023 at 4:30 pm I sat for 10 minutes with three male staff seemingly gossiping at the till. I think it must be new management or lack of. Gave up and left as there is plenty of choice in Marylebone.

On a warm evening there was no room to sit outside but as soon as a table was free Ali summoned us and this was the start to a very pleasant evening The fixed price menu had an attractive choice and to we chose it and had an excellent three course dinner. Both Ali and Luke as waiters were very attentive and diligent.

Came on a quiet Monday night. Were sat way back in a corner in case the place filled up which it didn’t. Everything was adequate and formulaic. They can’t make you a vodka martini because it’s not on the menu. You have to ask for water. Burger came with bacon which my husband directly asked about and confirmed he did not want. Service was lack luster. They automatically add 10% service charge any way. A good predictable place which is not super expensive but won’t knock your socks off.

Our party all enjoyed their dishes which included duck, chicken and the fish pie although the value for money wasn’t as good as it previously has been in other Cote branches particularly with additional items such as vegetables. It was also incredibly noisy which seemed to be one multi-generational family party as the levels dropped considerably when they left. Having visited an exceptional similarly themed independent elsewhere in the country a couple of days prior to this visit I was going to score Cote a 3 in comparison but the desserts brought it back up to a 4 star review

This was our third visit to Cote Brasserie, just off Marylebone High Street and, again, we had an excellent lunch, taking advantage of the value for money fixed menu, and sitting in the sun and relaxing. The staff were great and very friendly, and I can honestly say they made our lunchtime treat even more enjoyable. There was a great atmosphere! We even had a celeb sighting! The food was good charcuterie board, mussels, and chicken in a mushroom sauce for the main courses followed by a gorgeous chocolate mousse. Cocktails and a good bottle of Rosé made our meal complete. We will be back!

The food is always a little hit or miss at any Cote but what made my previous experience several months ago truly miserable was being stuck in a corner and practically being ignored. Yesterday my faith in the service if not the food has been restored. Luke was managing and was a delight, looked after me beautifully and is a great example of how to look after all your customers not just the ones with big wallets. Other members of staff were lovely also. I've always believed good team work filters down from the top, therefore Luke has to be congratulated for the change in atmosphere and attentiveness
