"Are at Cote Marche for dinner during our stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Read previous Tripadvisor reviews which also helped inform our decision to dine there. After a LONG day at Versailles with a lot of walking, we wanted something nearby and easy to access. The restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the hotel directly up the Boulevard de La Reine. Restaurant has free wifi, wait staff speak some English and are very friendly (not always the norm in France) and the menu is varied with some typical offerings like burgers and pizzas but with other more traditional French items including a lovely charcuterie plate. Outside seating allowed for people watching and dining leisurely. Food was delicious! Price-wise, it was moderate, by European standards, with our meal for 3 people (an entree sized charcuterie plate, Cote Marche pizza and club burger) along with a 1/2 carafe of rosè) coming up to €39. Would return if staying nearby."

a nice friendly place with good food, reasonable prices and good service - many French eat there, which is good sign. The beetle sausage is surprising.

We went there and enjoyed the best vichyssoise ever- the main course was very good - just it is in Versailles - a destination for the masses and this was out of the way and quiet and beautiful. The staff was attentive and caring and we would go there again...

This is the second restaurant for the owners of the Elephant d'argent in the centre of town and it does not disappoint. Slightly smaller menu range than the original restaurant but the same exceptional quality is there. Good service from friendly staff. I try to...More

This was a little gem that we found on our trip. We wanted a place where we can eat something simple, have a couple of beers and watch the France vs Switzerland game and PRESTO! This place was right on the corner of our hotel. Try the Cote Marche pizza. You will be delighted with it.

Sunday: a server for the five or six groups of the restaurant. get the menu, order, wait for the dishes to be rid of, get the desserts card. all the moments that can last for so long in a medium French restaurant have been amplified here. on the positive side, the food was good, a very reasonable value/price. a standard brewery card, without pretention but correctly executed.

We had dinner here and were pleasantly surprised. the Portuguese owner/director was very friendly and welcomed us (including our dog.) we had the meal of formula 3 dishes (fixed menu), which offered a good choice even for a difficult eater. for three of us with drinks, it was at a very reasonable price and much cheaper than our hotel options. located a few steps from the castle of worms, so practical if you stay nearby.

We had lunch here after visiting Versailles Chateau about 2:00 pm. We ordered the special which consisted of appetizer, entrée and dessert for about $18€. We couldn't even eat our desserts because we were so full. We had pumpkin soup with smoked beef, french onion soup, and salmon tartare for appetizers. For entrees we had chicken with gnocchi, ham/cheese pizza with an egg and cote du boeuf with fries. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I am sorry we didn't have room for dessert!
