"Lille can be an uninteresting, tourist centric town with not much to look forward to but Creperie Beaurepaire does give you something to look forward to on your next visit. If you like authentic French crepes, as we do, this was our best meal in Lille. The savoury crepes are always prepared with a buckwheat dough and our classic cheese and fresh mushroom crepe was soooo good, we forgot how well the French do crepes. We also tried an anchovy, olive and tomato crepe which was also a salty joy. The optional green salad, which we did choose, was a few leaves of lettuce and uninspired. Although we were full the table beside us had a stunning dessert crepe that inspired us to order one as well. Then simple salted butter caramel crepe disappeared off the plate so fast I can nearly remember how it tasted (Amazing!).Service was very good despite the fact they spoke no English and took the time to tolerate our questions (best they could).Could eat here everyday; why didn't I?"

I visited here with 4 friends on a cold winters afternoon and was very impressed. The place is very atmospheric and looks beautiful. The crepes were delicious and the service was delightful

Cosy and nice restaurant. Well made galettes and crêpes with a lot of different combinations. Go all in with the crêpes and try the special onces, their "crêpe au spéculose" is really tasty if you like spéculose! :)

A charming cozy restaurant in an authentic old place with a chimney which gives a romantic atmosphere. Obviously we had crepe and it was really huge so recommend you order and share. Many choices and you will love it! View menu

If you are looking for a typical french crepe this is place! The menu has a lot of salt and sweet options, they are all good! The price is also very good, so the place is great for travellers in a budget! Don't forget to order a cider with your crepe!

Went here this evening, really looking forward to a galette after seeing reviews and menu. Waited over half an hour to be served - we were totally ignored. Others came after and were served, tables were cleared - and we continued to be ignored. This has never happened to us before so really not sure what to make of it

Wonderful charming little restaurant serving both savoury and sweet crepes.Fantastic choice of crepes on the menu, had problems deciding which one to choose, which is very strange for a vegetarian. Ended up with the ratatouille for savoury and finished off with the frangipane for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious.Excellent value too! View menu

we stumbled across this place with a knowing lunchtime hunger and loved the smell from outside. we were delighted to bag a table in this cute little authentic setting and enjoyed great aperitifs and wonderful crepes. they have a huge menu to choose from of sweet and savoury options. highly recommend. friendly multi lingual staff too. excellent value too, most loaded crepes only 7-8 euros

Friendly and welcoming restaurant, although only one waitress spoke English, so it felt like it was enjoyed by the locals. Upstairs there was a huge group, so it's probably a fun place to go if you are in a group. We sat downstairs and it was perfectly fine. Service was good and quick, even with the large group. I chose the Popeye which was very rich, delicious and filling. My companion had two crepes - a chocolate followed by a lemon and sugar. Mine was buckwheat and hers were plain - I prefer the buckwheat but it was savoury. Prices were reasonable and we had a very nice lunch and enjoyed some very good crepes.
