"My husband and I always look for somewhere to eat that serves good food and this little café did just that. It was lunchtime, however, my husband had the Scottish breakfast, which completely filled him up for the rest of the day. Freshly cooked, well presented with a jovial side of sarcastic wit from the delightful chap serving behind the counter. Egg, bacon, sausage, tons of mushrooms, beans, haggis, black pudding, toast, and above all, filter coffee, which you can’t really find these days – it usually comes out of a machine. That got an extra star from my husband. I had a tuna fish sandwich, and was happily indulged with red onion on top. This came with a healthy side of coleslaw, a little salad, and a big handful of Doritos style chips. I would have preferred ordinary crisps, but this is just a personal choice. I certainly wouldn’t criticise anybody for this. I had a cappuccino which was served really hot and tasted delicious. We left via the beer garden at the back, having discovered it when I used the bathroom. We will definitely go back for an evening meal and sit outside when the weather allows. As we were heading towards the car park, a couple asked us for directions and we pointed them towards the beach via this café. I hope they took us up on our suggestion."

Wonderful! Excellent food, service and ambiance. Alan, Judith with their staff were fantastic. We had our Christmas meal there and everyone had a great time because of the attention to detail.

Good variety of food on the plate, all well cooked, but nothing extraordinary, toast thin and a bit mean, just a decent spot to have average filling breakfast. Service very friendly and efficient

Called in yesterday on the hop for a late lunch, my wife had a tomato cheese panini , myself a sausage and bacon bap with a bowl of chips. Well presented and very tasty. Warm welcome for the staff , we would recommend visiting.

I found this restaurant to be a delightful discovery while passing through Fishguard. The owner gave us a warm welcome and the breakfast we had was a great value. My husband especially enjoyed the Scottish breakfast with haggis.

Fabulous little cafe! Dog friendly, great food, friendly service, quick serving, nice decor, clean and tidy. All in all a great spot and well worth finding. Public carpark just around the corner too. Tickled us to find a full Scottish breakfast on the menu in a corner of Wales, but it was very nice.

This cafe is great for its reasonable prices, fast service, and delicious food. The manager is very entertaining and adds a lot of personality to the place. I definitely recommend trying their breakfasts and keeping up with their awesome event nights on Facebook. It's worth a visit just for the fun atmosphere.

Could not fault anything her at all, superb. We will be back in the near future definitely. Thankyou for a wonderful lunch. A well deserved five stars and if I could give more I would.

Visited here today for lunch. Ended up having the breakfast, very nice. Good selection of food with a Scottish breakfast on offer in Wales. All Table service which was nice and friendly staff. The owner was very friendly and the locals all loved his humour, lovely atmosphere. I noted they had a full bar and they did evening meals on weekends. Food came out very timely. Good location in town with the public car park at the rear. Nice decor and plenty of space.

I highly recommend this charming cafe located in the town centre. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing quick and efficient service. The coffee is delicious and the breakfast options are amazing, with options available for gluten-free and vegetarian diets. The vegetarian breakfast even includes cheesy chips, which is a unique and tasty twist. The prices are extremely reasonable, with coffee or tea included in the breakfast price. Overall, this cafe is outstanding and offers something different that is worth trying.

"And lucky old us wow! This was a great surprise, we had no idea we were coming into something so unusual and so good. The garden space is very big and on the lawn, amongst the flowers, herbs and vegetable beds sit tables and chairs, mainly made of roughly hewn wood, plus tenty sheddy structures with heaters, teepee looking things and probably other structures I didn't take in.We were there when it was dark and there were strings of lights throughout the garden and it was all stunning and rather difficult to take in!The service was occasionally scatty but always well meaning and pleasant and mostly very professional and rightly proud of what they do, the place and the food they serve. The food! We were so thrilled with the food after some not very good experiences locally and, as others have said, we wished we'd found it earlier and been able to book another night.I had the pork belly which must have been cooking for hours, apart from the rind (not exactly crackling but still crispy and wonderful) I could cut the meat with my fork love to know how to achieve it. No taste had been lost in the cooking process and the fat was there but was kind of crumbly so it was gorgeous. And it came with great slices of home pickled carrot and fennel which was just delicious with a hint of sweetness and a hint of spice. And a puree which I believe was cauliflower. And don't forget the delicious little black pudding rissole that comes with it.As you can see, I could go on and on! My partner loved his succulent lamb, which was served with the same vegetables. Oh, and we had side dishes of seasonal greens and roasted beetroot and goats cheese these were also yummy and well flavoured, side dish didn't mean unimportant.Sadly, we didn't have dessert, what can I say, bet they're ace. This is far too long, do visit if you can it's a real treat with great cooking and lovely people."
