"We don't typically visit this place often, but a group of us decided to stop by early on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. While it may not be my top choice for a brewery, there are plenty of other drink options available. We enjoyed the sunny weather by sitting at a table outside, which offered a fantastic view of all the activity around us. They even had a television showing the races from Royal Ascot. The prices were reasonable, but we were advised to be cautious about the car park. If you leave your car there, it's important to register it as they strictly enforce this rule and you may receive a fine if you fail to do so."

I eat here on a regular basis and I have to say that I haven't had a bad meal. Occasionally could be a tad warmer, but the food is still always good.

The bartenders completely ignore customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone as they seem to only serve locals and neglect others. I suggest finding another place to go if you are not a regular.

Went to meet our friend from Horwich and we needed to eat so though about the crown. We managed to beat the lunchtime rush and got our drinks and food order in before anyone else showed up. We all chose something different and all enjoyed it.

We always ask if we can be accommodated as we nearly always have a big party and they’re always obliging. Very friendly service that comes quite quickly considering there were 12 of us on a Saturday teatime. We had no complaints and completely enjoyed the experience. Try it.

We had just come back from holiday and need to eat so we called some of our family and booked a table for 7. The menu had all sorts of offers on it and so the ordering process took a short while but having done all that the food turned up extremely quickly and was well received by everyone. The staff were very very helpful and we enjoyed the whole package. We’ll go back.

This was one of the first pubs I used to go in as a kid and so it has fun memories. Amazingly, the layout hasn’t changed much but it is still a very enjoyable place to visit. A group of us went in later on on a Saturday and it was quite busy. It was a great atmosphere though and seems to be a real locals pub. a standard range of good drinks at reasonable prices mean it is a good option to visit in Horwich. Nice service as well.

We went to the Crown after dining at a nearby restaurant and we were disappointed with our experience. We enjoy sitting outside, even in cooler weather, but the pub refused to turn on the heaters, claiming they were broken. We were then overcharged at the bar, paying £21 for two small Proseccos and a pint of Two Hoots. It seemed like we were being charged for the pub's heating bill for the entire night! The owners need to improve their service. If I could give this place a zero rating, I would, but unfortunately Trip Advisor doesn't allow it. We will not be returning to this establishment.
