"exceptional vegan and vegetarian menu, which is far. the first time it can be quite overwhelming, as the dishes are quite unknown, but the owner speaks with them and will know their taste and then make recommendations. we loved the first meal there and returned with friends and family. we have taken a menu home to explore a bit more before we have returned. it is great to get curry that can be tailored to the taste and is light, fresh and seems a very healthy option. there are no traces of the oils that are so often associated with curries. highly recommended."

I was thrilled to discover a new vegetarian restaurant in Stockport, as Sanskruti and Jaipur Palace are quite a distance away from here.

we have seen this on travel advisers, had great critikens, so we gave it a jump and we were not disappointed. the food was nice and delicious. service was good. the wee choice was limited, although she did not seem to have that the wee was good. would definitely go back.

I discovered this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try based on its excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and flavorful, the service was good, and while the wine selection was limited, it was still satisfactory. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future. not to be familiar with vegetarian Indian cuisine, I was afraid of the menu, but I don't need to have been. our server asked us some questions about the type of food we then recommended starter main dishes and left the rest in the kitchen. eating that arrived was both delicious and plentiful. a certain recommendation from me

very pleasant welcome of pradeep, explanation about various interesting decisions on a detailed menu. excellent service and genorous portion. if we live in the opposite, it would be a regular choice, price-performance ratio and so tasty eating based on Indian vegetarian from gujarraat and punjab not a restaurant of this quality in london, drummond road or cambridge would die for a decent like these

Initially unsure about trying vegetarian Indian cuisine due to lack of familiarity, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of our server in navigating the menu. After discussing our preferences, they recommended appetizers and main dishes and entrusted the rest to the chefs. The food we were served was not only tasty, but also ample in portion size. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. View menu

Pradeep greeted us warmly and guided us through the diverse menu options. The service was top-notch and the portion sizes were very generous. If we lived closer, we would certainly frequent this restaurant regularly. The Indian vegetarian cuisine from Gujarat and Punjab was both delicious and reasonably priced. London, Drummond Street, and Cambridge do not have any comparable restaurants of this caliber.

The restaurant offers an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu that is exceptional. On your first visit, the array of unfamiliar dishes may be overwhelming, but the owner takes the time to understand your preferences and provides recommendations. Our first meal was wonderful, prompting us to return with friends and family. We even took a menu home to further explore before our next visit. The customizable curry options are light, fresh, and healthy, with no greasy oils typically found in curries. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Alborz

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
