"Having visited many local restaurants in the area and been underwhelmed, we decided to give Dal Nonno a go in Crawley Down. We had heard fantastic reviews of the place and we were not disappointed with our visit. The ambiance was warm with lovely hand painted walls and Italian background music. The staff were attentive and all Italian and the food delicious! I had the best ever Saltimbocca alla Romana and the kids loved their pizzas. The wine and overall cost of the meal was very reasonable and were even given complimentary tap water and bread and oil to the table without prompting. Overall a lovely lovely evening. Just don't have a bad word to say about this place! Friday and Saturday nights it's always full, plenty off atmosphere, great great food, good choice of drink and authentic Italian staff who cannot do enough for you. Just make sure you book!

we are often here and I can honestly say that we have never experienced anything except great eating and wonderful customer service in an authentic and busy family-run restaurant. we have dal. nonno in our village and I would highly recommend it

only 2 of us for dinner, we chose the £16.95 3 curs menu. fab menu with last to choose. eating was excellent and in portions great. there was also a great special board that made the choice of what to eat very hard. would definitely recommend and if we ever were back in the opposite would certainly go back. the service was really good and enjoyed the free limoncello at the end. the small touches make the greatest difference.

What a great restaurant!! To get great good and a great atmosphere and great service all under one roof does not come easy, but this place makes it all look effortless. A menu that just wanted me to book again to try all the dishes that look so great!! All you have to do is look around and all the people in the restaurant they all have smiles on their faces, after eating I know why!! I was driving when we went, next time I'm all over the wine!!!! Thanks for the evening and thanks for treating my mum so well on for her birthday, she loved it!!
