friendly family run type of place, good food and service, nice worthy staff and excellent service and interesting fresh boiled tapas

We had a wonderful evening last night (10/19/17) at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff provided excellent, friendly service.

Really disappointed to return to my favourite restaurant in Wanstead to find that the new staff are rude and unable to understand our needs. I won’t be rushing back

We love this restaurant. We visit any chance we get on our mini holidays from the Midlands. Service and food excellent, as usual. Sangria was delicious and freshly made. Nice cosy surroundings and a comfortable atmosphere. See you again soon.

very enjoyed our second visit here in the room of a few weeks. the staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs. the sangria is one of the best we have ever had and eating is also excellent. the ambiente des restaurants is beautiful. also I would recommend definately to those who want to visit wanstead.

So disappointed. I’ve eaten here regularly if not very frequently over the years, Tonight’s tapas was very disappointing. It was all ok but no more -and several were very below par. Nothing apart from the salad seemed freshly prepared. I didn’t recognise any staff either...-has it changed hands? I won’t be returning anytime soon I am sorry to say.

Tried this restaurant on recommendations from friends and it has now become a regular favourite for me and the hubby over the last few months. Staff and service have always been great, on every occasion. We normally order a selection of tapas, and have literally...tried most items on the menu, all of which are delicious. Only downside to the restaurant is it can get extremely busy at these weekend, so booking early is essential.

I’ll start with the positives. The sangria, service, vegetable croquettes and chorizo were very good but honestly everything else was just horrible. In term of dishes that really were a let down firstly the patatas bravas had this bland and bitter thick sauce and the...potatoes that were used were like Iceland frozen roast potatoes, the abondigas was served in the same sauce as well as lacking any type of seasoning and the same went for the sausage tapas in terms of seasoning and being served with the same sauce. I was very disappointed with how expensive everything for how low quality it really was. I’ve been to a lot of tapas restaurants as well as market stalls who make a much nicer tapas...

invited to what I thought would be a bite to eat at a tapas square stood as a fabulous Spanish fine dining experience in this beautiful family-run restaurant. my host knew the staff, including manuel, the owner, eleanor and the team that made our group so welcome with great table. the decor and ambiente is very secret and no loud music so they can chat. the best but is eating that is amazing. an extensive menu of tapas with large selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. we ordered a mixture of dressed like: spicy chicken liver, baby octopus, garlic chicken, filled aubergine and brote to share. we had all the time we needed to eat and chat, no pressure on the table or the order net. th...
