"invited to what I thought would be a bite to eat at a tapas square stood as a fabulous Spanish fine dining experience in this beautiful family-run restaurant. my host knew the staff, including manuel, the owner, eleanor and the team that made our group so welcome with great table. the decor and ambiente is very secret and no loud music so they can chat. the best but is eating that is amazing. an extensive menu of tapas with large selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. we ordered a mixture of dressed like: spicy chicken liver, baby octopus, garlic chicken, filled aubergine and brote to share. we had all the time we needed to eat and chat, no pressure on the table or the order net. the tapas were filled, but some of our group ordered nets that we shared. paella was beautiful, like the huh in cream sauce and lamb hacks. I had a bit of every leaving room for a delicious cream brulee espanol style while other Irish coffees. I didn't pay as a hospitable, but whatever the bill came, I would have paid for, fortunately, because all the food and restaurant experience was exactly that. an experience. After telling my wife how amazing eating looks, I will come back with her to enjoy this classic Spanish culinary experience I recommend to everyone in and around wanstead."

very enjoyed our second visit here in the room of a few weeks. the staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs. the sangria is one of the best we have ever had and eating is also excellent. the ambiente des restaurants is beautiful. also I would recommend definately to those who want to visit wanstead.

So disappointed. I’ve eaten here regularly if not very frequently over the years, Tonight’s tapas was very disappointing. It was all ok but no more -and several were very below par. Nothing apart from the salad seemed freshly prepared. I didn’t recognise any staff either...-has it changed hands? I won’t be returning anytime soon I am sorry to say.
