Located within its own large grounds, it is a very enjoyable place to stay. The room was very comfortable, accompanied by an excellent breakfast and evening dinner. Beautiful characterful property with very helpful staff and a personal touch. 4 stars for the room because the room was very hot at night with lack of air con (note we were there on the hottest days of the year >25degC), which is understandable in a historic property. To alleviate the situation, a duvet tog lower than 10.5tog would help Rooms: 4

had here a two-day break with my partner mitte mai and were blessed with good weather. this enabled a simple access to marlow, a beautiful small town. the rooms are of excellent standard, our with a balcony and view over the area to the river. bar and restaurant are excellent, as the spa. all the staff are polite and efficient. the price reflects the quality when the device is recommended.

Wonderful location with fantastic manicured grounds and magnificent building steeped in history. Staff really pleasant and helpful. A fabulous place for a short break as it has the additional benefit of a spa. Lunch was beautifully presented, although menu is a little restricted. Dinner menu is more varied so we will return!! However the food was first class. Would have no problem recommending this venue.

Excellent 2 night stay at Danesfield House. Lovely staff and very helpful. Room was very spacious and comfortable with all amenities provided. Particularly liked having a smart tv capable of casting from phone so I could watch the Grand Prix qualifying! Food was lovely, had dinner in the oak room and have to say the food was better than the meal we had the previous night at the Hand and Flowers.. and a third of the price! Will certainly return.

Had a two night stay for my wife’s birthday and ate in the restaurant and the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the house and grounds are well presented with great views and a sense of detachment, the rooms are excellent the staff are very attentive have character and the food was great too. Nice pool and having a steam room is a plus. Rooms: Very decent size rooms with individual character. Walkability: We walked out of the grounds along the Thames to a weir about an hour away. Very nice, hardly saw a soul.

My Husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Danesfield House Hotel Spa as a treat for my birthday. The staff went over and above to make our stay a happy one from the moment we checked in. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff even gave us complimentary drinks and truffles on our first night with our dinner. The room was better than expected as we’d booked a package stay via Secret Escapes and the hotel grounds, interior and spa facilities did not disappoint. Dining in the orangery was a real treat too and the food was very well presented and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at Dansfield House and we will certainly return. we had a really magical experience at the danesfield house hotel just before Christmas for a common birthday party with my twin sister. the hotel was beautifully furnished for christmas and the rooms wonderful with beautiful clean bathrooms. the view of the gardens from the room was also wonderful. the staff was very friendly and attentive. Although not all the workers wore masks, most did, and it made the hotel feel very safe. we had access to the pool and spa for a fixed time slot to ensure that it was not too busy and the dinner in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. they also let us celebrate our own birthday cake. we had a very special weekend and visited the beautif...

Firstly I would just like to say that all the staff were amazing. Everyone from the groundskeeper to the manager were nothing but lovely and helpful. A special thanks to the young lady on the breakfast and lunch shift with blonde hair who was especially helpful with my wife’s dietary requirements. The rooms do need a bit of TLC with some paint chipping off the walls and curtains with marks and rips in. The house is maintained to a very high standard but again could use a little TLC but that’s to be expected from any busy hotel! The grounds are immaculate.
